A German paedophile suspected of abducting and murdering Madeleine McCann has spoken for the first time since he was named a suspect.
Christian Brueckner, 44, has reportedly written a letter slamming the investigation a "scandal", proclaiming his innocence and urging prosecutors leading the case to give up.
He accused prosecutors of bringing "shame" to the German legal system by making "scandalous" statements against him without ever bringing charges in connection with Madeleine's disappearance.
The letter, dated May 8, reportedly was accompanied by a bizarre drawing of two prosecutors ordering "filet forensics" at a restaurant.
Bruckner was last year named the prime suspect in the case, which German prosecutors are treating as a murder investigation.
Madeleine went missing from her family's holiday apartment in Praia da Luz, Portugal, just days before her fourth birthday in May 2007.
Her parents Kate and Gerry had put her and her siblings to bed in the flat before joining friends for dinner at a tapas restaurant nearby.
Madeleine was gone when they returned and has never been found.
German prosecutors claim they have evidence Madeline is dead and they suspect she was abducted and murdered by Brueckner, who has not yet been quizzed.
German tabloid Bild reported on Monday that it had obtained a letter written by Brueckner.
He said prosecutors should resign for "persecuting an innocent person".
Brueckner, previously convicted of sexually abusing two young girls in Germany, called the investigation a "scandal" and attacked prosecutors for making statements about him to the press.
He wrote that prosecutors were "unsuitable for office" and "bring shame to the German legal system", Bild reported.
The letter was accompanied by a drawing of prosecutors ordering food in a restaurant.
In speech bubbles in the drawing, one of the characters says "I'll take the filet forensics" and the other replies "Yummy, me too".
It is a possible reference to the fact that investigators have previously admitted they have no forensic evidence in the case.
Brueckner, who is currently in prison, wrote in the letter: "Charging an accused is one thing.
"Something completely different - namely, it is an unbelievable scandal - when a public prosecutor starts a public campaign for prejudice before a court case is opened.
"Freedom of expression is not a basic right so that everyone can say and write what they want. Freedom of expression does not protect the majority.

Brueckner is in prison in Oldenburg, near Bremen, after being sentenced to seven years for raping an elderly woman in her home in Praia da Luz in 2005.
It is the same resort where Madeleine, from Rothley, Leicestershire, went missing about 18 months later.
Earlier this month, prosecutor Hans Christian Wolters told the Mirror he was "pleased" with how the case has progressed and it could be solved in months.
Mr Wolters said prosecutors still had unanswered questions, however.

The prime suspect in the disappearance of Madeleine McCann has spoken for the first time to claim he's innocent.
Convicted paedophile Christian Brueckner, 44, claimed the investigation was 'scandalous' and condemned prosecutors who 'brought shame to the legal system,' in a letter obtained by German newspaper Bild.
It was accompanied by a strange sketch which depicts two prosecutors ordering food at a restaurant. They have speech bubbles over their heads, with one saying, 'I'll take the filet forensics,' and the other replying, 'Yummy, me too.'
It may refer to the lead prosecutor Hans Wolter's previous admission that there was no forensic evidence against Bruckner in the McCann case.
Three-year-old Madeleine vanished from a holiday apartment in Portugal's Praia da Luz on May 3, 2007.
Her parents Kate and Gerry had put her and her siblings to bed in the flat before meeting friends for dinner at a nearby tapas restaurant.
Brueckner was living in a camper van near Praia da Luz at the time of the disappearance.
Last June, German and UK police revealed Brueckner as a suspect after first becoming aware of his potential connection to the case in 2017.
He has not yet been interrogated by police and the letter published in Germany today is the first time he has spoken publicly since the allegations surfaced.
Brueckner wrote: 'Charging an accused is one thing. Something completely different, namely an unbelievable scandal, when a public prosecutor starts a public prejudgement campaign before the main proceedings are opened.
'Freedom of expression is not a basic right so that everyone can say and write what they want. Freedom of expression does not protect the majority.
'It protects the minority. It does not protect the most logical, most convincing or most popular views, but rather the outsider position.
'I call on the Brunswick public prosecutors Wolters and Lindemann to resign from their offices.'
The paedophile continued: 'You both prove worldwide, through arbitrary convictions in the past and through scandalous prejudgement campaigns in the present, that you are unsuitable for the office of an "advocate for the honest and trusting German people" and that you bring shame to the German legal system.'
The letter and the bizarre accompanying cartoon are signed with his signature and dated May 8. It is not clear why it has only now been unsealed.
Brueckner is serving seven years for raping an elderly woman in Praia da Luz.
He is also being investigated for allegedly exposing himself in a playground while children were present.

1976: Christian Brueckner is born in Würzburg under a different name, believed to be Fischer. He was adopted by the Brueckner family and took their surname.
1992: Christian Brueckner is arrested on suspicion of burglary in his hometown of Wurzburg, Bavaria.
1994: He is given a two-year sentence for 'abusing a child' and 'performing sex acts in front of a child'.
1995: Brueckner arrives in Portugal as an 18-year-old backpacker and begins working in catering in the seaside resorts of Lagos and Praia da Luz.
But friends say he became involved with a criminal syndicate trafficking drugs into the Algarve.
September 2005: He dons a mask and breaks into an apartment where a 72-year-old American tourist.
The victim was bound, gagged, blindfolded and whipped with a metal cane before being raped for 15 minutes. She said afterwards that he had clearly enjoyed 'torturing' her before the rape.
April 2007: He moves out of a farmhouse and into a campervan linked to the crime. The farmhouse is cleaned and a bag of wigs is found.
May 3, 2007: Madeleine McCann is snatched at around 10pm from her bed as her parents eat tapas with friends yards away.
Brueckner's mobile phone places him in the area that night. He returns to his native Germany shortly after that.
October 2011: He is sentenced to 21 months for 'dealing narcotics' in Niebüll, in northern Germany.

He is said to have told him in a bar that he 'knew all about' what happened to her. He then showed his friend a video of him raping a woman.

THE Prime Minister sparked rumours that he was a secret SWINGER after a blunder on his Twitter account.
Gordon Brown’s 10 Downing Street page was found to be following a sex club, on the networking site.
NaughtyRev describes itself as: “Offering lifestyle parties, passionate encounters and discreet adult fun.”
On its website the saucy swingers party hosts also say: “Every day more and more couples and single ladies are joining the lifestyles and exploring their long-repressed sexual desires.
“We provide the perfect environment to help them on their path to sexual freedom and erotic bliss.”
Brown’s association with the club on his Twitter page led to jokes circulating on the web that the PM loved swinging with his wife Sarah.
One blogger said: “Wahey, it seems Gordon is a fan of swinging. Never thought he had it in him. Well, we shouldn’t be surprised he is a fan of sex with strangers, he’s been f***ing a whole country full of strangers for years.”
But a spokesman for the PM was quick to claim that Mr Brown was NOT a swinger.
He said: “When the No10 Twitter account was set up it was set to follow anyone who followed Downing Street.
“We have checked and removed the offending link.”

The Met have been savaged on Channel 4 tonight. “Scandalous” was one word used.
“Are they fit to police themselves?”
Cressida Dick didn’t co-operate fully with the panel inquiry. We’ll just have to wait and see how long she lasts now. If she does last, then it speaks loads about what would sustain her.
The Met aren’t fit for purpose and still haven’t tackled corruption.

On an unrelated issue, Donald Trump lost the Presidential election in November 2020 and has since then claimed the election was stolen from him without providing anything to prove his claim.
Everyone knows that he lost the election even those claiming they believe him. It’s a pathetic farce, unfortunately fed by many and although the numbers are diminishing significantly by the day there are still some staunch pretenders.
Just to say that the Maddie case has been a “stolen election” since May 2007.
Hopefully, one day we will hear about Maddie many use a similar defense that Sidney Powell used when facing defamation: “'No Reasonable Person' thought her election fraud claims were fact.”

After years of delays, the father of 13-year-old Dylan Redwine will go to trial on charges alleging he murdered the boy, who disappeared from southwest Colorado nearly a decade ago.
Jury selection in 59-year-old Mark Redwine‘s trial began Monday in Durango, almost four years after his arrest in connection to the boy’s death. A grand jury in July 2017 indicted Redwine on charges of second-degree murder and child abuse leading to death in connection to the boy’s 2012 death.
The boy’s disappearance was covered by national and international media, including the Dr. Phil show.
“There has been extreme interest in this case, both inside and outside of the country,” Sixth Judicial Chief Judge Jeffrey Wilson said during jury selection Monday.
Jurly selection is expected to last a week with testimony beginning June 21. Wilson said the trial could continue through July 30 at the latest, though he expects it to finish before then. The trial will be streamed online.
Redwine’s trial has been rescheduled at least 10 times in the last four years, court records show. A trial began in October but the judge declared a mistrial in November after lawyers representing Redwine reported COVID-19 symptoms.
Dylan’s mother, Elaine Hall, reported her son missing while the boy was with Redwine during a court-ordered Thanksgiving visit in November 2012. Hall and Redwine divorced prior to the boy’s disappearance and, according to the indictment, the boy did not want to visit his father for Thanksgiving.
Some of the boy’s remains were discovered in 2013 about 8 miles from Redwine’s home in Vallecito, a town about 20 miles northeast of Durango. Hikers found part of the boy’s skull in 2014 about a mile from where the first set of remains was found.
Redwine became a person of interest in the case in 2015. Investigators found evidence of Dylan’s blood in Redwine’s home, according to the indictment. A dog trained to detect the smell of a dead boy found such scents in the house, in the bed of Redwine’s truck and on Redwine’s clothes from the night the boy disappeared, the indictment said.
Police arrested Redwine in Washington in 2017 after the grand jury indictment. He has remained in jail waiting for trial since his arrest.
Redwine pleaded not guilty to the crimes and repeatedly told news reporters he was innocent in his son’s death.
It will be an interesting case for evidence from cadaver dog handler. She is a key witness.

New York-based lawyers argue evidence is unreliable

New York City lawyers appeared Thursday in a Durango courtroom to assist Mark Redwine, a Vallecito man accused of killing his son, Dylan, almost seven years ago.
M. Chris Fabricant, director of strategic litigation for the New York-based Innocence Project, and Dana Delger, strategic litigation attorney, are helping public defenders discredit the validity and reliability of cadaver dogs – dogs trained to detect the odor of human remains.
Prosecutors plan to use cadaver dog evidence, in part, to pin the 2012 disappearance and death of Dylan, 13, on his father.
The Innocence Project became involved as early as March 11 when Colorado public defender John Moran signed and submitted a 39-page motion written by the Innocence Project. The legal nonprofit based in New York City works to exonerate innocent inmates, improve case law through targeted litigation, pass laws to reform the justice system and support exonerees through social programs.
The motion argues that the ability of a dog to detect human remains at a specific location days, weeks, months or even years after the source of that scent was removed has not been proven “with any degree of scientific reliability,” attorneys wrote.
Sixth Judicial District Court Judge Jeffery Wilson said in May that defense attorneys did not persuade the court to disallow cadaver dog evidence, upholding a prior decision despite new arguments.
But he gave defense lawyers an opportunity to present further arguments and evidence to demonstrate the unreliability of cadaver dogs.
Those arguments are being presented this week, with Redwine’s defense attorneys Moran and Justin Bogan inviting the Innocence Project attorneys to convince Wilson of the dogs’ unreliability.
The dog
Molly, a cadaver-sniffing dog from Wisconsin, alerted her trainer Carren Corcoran to the odor of human remains in 2013 and 2014. The dog alerted on clothes Redwine was wearing the night his son went missing, according to law enforcement. Molly detected the odor of human remains at Redwine’s home near Vallecito Reservoir, in the bed of his Dodge pickup and on Middle Mountain Road north of the reservoir where Dylan’s partial remains were found in June 2013.
Molly, a single-purpose cadaver dog, identified the scents nine months after Dylan’s disappearance. Prosecutors, in part, hinge their case on the fact that cadaver dogs “indicated that a deceased person had been in (Redwine’s) living room and bed of his pickup truck ... ,” according to the indictment.
Molly died in 2018.
Prosecutors have introduced hundreds of pages of training records and certifications to validate the dog’s reliability.
Corcoran has worked as a full-time patrol dog handler for about nine years. She testified Thursday that in unrelated cases between 2008 and 2013, Molly made at least six alerts to the odor of human remains when no remains were found. But the dog’s alerts were later validated when suspects confessed bodies had been present where Molly marked.
But Innocence Project staff attorney Delger identified at least three training records provided to the court where Molly either did not alert to decaying material or did not mark the exact location where the odor of human remains emanated from.

Mary Cablk, a Nevada-based researcher who focuses on sensory detection and is a cadaver dog trainer, testified that sniffing dogs must be trained to a specific environment and, in the case of cadaver dogs, to a specific level of decomposition.
A dog trained with fresh human remains in a humid climate would not be reliable searching for decomposing human remains in an arid region, Cablk testified.
Cadaver dogs need at least 16 hours of training each month, Cablk said. Corcoran testified that she trained Molly eight hours a week. Cablk said dogs also should not be trained to alert to the scent of hair; Corcoran testified that Molly was trained to detect hair.
Cablk said dogs that train with fresh human remains pick up on different chemicals than dogs trained to detect decaying body parts. Molly had never trained with human remains, or the odor of human remains, that had been decomposing for at least nine months, Corcoran testified.
A well-trained dog won’t just find an odor but will locate where it emanates from, Cablk said: “If the dog can put its nose on it, I would expect that.” And residual odor from human remains may stay in an area for no more than a week, she said. It can’t be quantified, and sunlight and heat can change the composition of the odor, she said.
“It doesn’t last forever,” Cablk said of the odor of human remains.

A Mother Disappears Leaving Behind A Mystery That Would Take Her Daughter 30 Years To Solve

When Jean Zapata vanished from her home in Madison, Wis., in 1976, she left behind her daughter Linda, two other children, a lot of friends, and a mystery that would take more than 30 years to solve.
"I spent my whole life from age 11 just telling people when they asked, 'My mom abandoned me,'" Linda remembers.
She only knew what her father had told her when on the day her mother disappeared. "At age 11, when my dad said she took off because she was stressed out, it was cemented in my head. She took off and she's raising another family somewhere."
Had Jean really taken off and left her family and friends behind? As Richard Schlesinger reports, a set of new detectives would take a fresh look at the case decades later, and try to solve the question everyone wanted to know: what really happened to Jean Zapata?
Jean's best friend, Peggy Weekly, never believed that Jean would simply abandon her family. "Because she could not have walked out on her children because of the way she was raised. It was just too deeply ingrained in her to take care of those kids, to be a mom," Peggy says.
A lifetime of nagging questions and haunting memories would bring Peggy and Jean's daughter Linda together. Neither could have predicted it, but digging for the truth would involve terrible choices and betrayal.
It all started in Madison in the early 1950's, when Peggy and Jean first became best friends. Peggy was with her best friend for all the good times, including when Jean married a promising engineer, Eugene Zapata. They had three children: Christine, Steve and Linda.
Eugene went to work for the Department of Transportation, but Jean was no stay-at-home mom: once the kids were in school, she returned to her other love, flying, and became one of the few female flight instructors of her day.
But at home, not all was well. According to Peggy, Jean was happy in her marriage with Eugene for the first half of their time together. It became one of those marriages where behind closed doors, there was trouble.
"She told me that they were having problems in the bedroom, but she didn't go into any detail at all. She seemed to think that he had a lot more testosterone before she said 'I do.' But we didn't talk about that a lot. After all, we were nice girls. And nice girls didn't have problems with their marriage," Peggy says.
Jean wanted to keep the spark alive, even if it meant agreeing to do things nice girls didn't always do. But no matter what she did, nothing worked. In May 1976, about 17 years after they married, Jean filed for divorce.
Eugene moved out of the house and Jean began to explore life as a newly single woman. Before long, she met Paul Lee, and they had an instant connection. Jean and Paul talked every day, but the relationship didn't last long.

And I just caught a glimpse of her in the kitchen as I was shutting the door and I took off for school."
Linda never saw her mother again.
Ivan Norton worked with Jean at her flight school, and was surprised when she did not show up to teach a student pilot that day.
At the house where Jean and the kids lived, Eugene was already explaining to his children where their mother was. "I asked, 'Where's Mom?' And he said, 'She probably needs a break or a vacation. And she'll probably be home in a couple weeks,'" Linda remembers.
When Jean didn't show up for work after three days, Ivan called the police and then called Eugene. "I says, 'Well, hey, have you turned in her missing to the police?' 'No, I haven't done it.' And I said, 'Well, you don't have to. I did,'" Ivan recalls.
A week after Jean went missing, Police Officer Greg Martin showed up at the Zapata house. We have already read the document in the first link. In spite of this information presented by the defense, the judge allowed Officer Corcoran to be called as a prosecution witness.
We are certain that the defense legal team used or would have used this info to stop her from testifying. If they didn’t do that then they would have been incompetent and we certainly don’t think they are.
We’ll just have to wait to hear what Officer Corcoran says when she gives her evidence, which the prosecution obviously regard as very important.

It is very clear that Jules defends above with absolute certainty that a dead body in a boot should be investigated.
If she defends such a thesis with such vehemence it is because Jules believes beyond a shadow of a doubt that there was a dead body in a boot!

As the reader knows, we believe that Eddie alerts only to cadaver scent.

To say one believes that there was a dead body in the boot contradicts totally saying one believes that Eddie was simultaneously a cadaver and a blood dog.

Above, Jules considers the possibility of Madeleine’s DNA in the boot of the car having been from before her disappearance, as it could have transferred to the car by contamination when objects hat Maddie contacted with on May 3 or before, were transported when moving between houses.
This reasoning is faultless because it is that “could have” what exactly makes “her DNA being in the car doesn't prove anything”.
If Eddie was a blood and cadaver dog, then what is described above happening with the DNA would be exactly replicated with blood, wouldn’t it?
If what Eddie alerted to could have been blood from a live person, as Jules defends, then it could have come from contamination from objects, namely clothes, that Maddie could have been in contact with before her disappearance, isn’t that so? What applies to DNA from a live person applies to blood from a live person.
If Jules believes that Eddie was a blood and cadaver dog, then why does she differentiate DNA from blood, as she does? Saying that one is meaningless while the other could be damning when both would be equally totally meaningless?
Jules very clear doesn’t know what she’s talking about.
The blood found in the Scenic is meaningful – damning to be precise – ONLY if it has on it some sort of label that it would determine that it came from a dead body and only from a dead body.
We say that Eddie’s alert is exactly him putting that label of cadaver on the blood. But he can only place that label if he was only – as we say he was – a cadaver dog and not a dual-scent dog.
If he was a dual-scent dog, as Jules says she believes he was, then that blood could have been from a live person rendering the alert completely meaningless as then the blood “being in the car doesn't prove anything it”, using her own words.
Jules either believes there was a dead body in the boot or she believes that Eddie is a cadaver AND blood dog. She cannot have both even though she has stated she believes in both even though they exclude each other.

ReplyDeleteAs the reader knows, the gang has the clear mission of discrediting Eddie by making people believe that he was a blood and cadaver dog and not only what he was, a cadaver dog. Any and all of his alerts represented the presence of the scent that results from the process of human decomposition. Nothing else.
Note, according to the gang Eddie is totally blameless because they insist he’s absolutely faultless in the alarms he gives. It’s not his fault that he alerts to 2 scents they say. He doesn’t fail, he was just trained that way, they claim. The problem, they say, is that nothing can be concluded from his alerts because of this dual-capacity as they could be either scent, something that apparently according to them Grime overlooked during the entire process of training the dog.
Because Keela also alerted in the Scenic, they say it could mean that Eddie was just alerting to blood there and as explained above, without the “label” of cadaver the blood “being in the car doesn't prove anything”.
Why does the gang want to discredit Eddie’s cadaver scent alerts in the Scenic?
Because if ever it’s proved that the Scenic had Maddie’s dead body inside, it means that the McCanns had to have external help in the disposal of the body.
If the cadaver part of the alert on the Scenic can be disproved, then just having been of blood can be explained away and we have shown and by doing that the Scenic can simply be ruled out.
With the Scenic set aside, that leaves only the alerts in 5A. Yes, there is the alert on the toy but that can also be easily explained as it having been contaminated whilst the body was still in 5A. The plot remains circumscribed to just the McCanns and the rest of the Tapas group. No outside help. Only them are the bad guys.
With the Scenic out of the picture, Smithman can be Gerry with a dead Maddie, the Tapas dinners could have perfectly taken place without any collaboration from the Ocean Club staff in the hoax and above all, the negligence theory can be pursued relentlessly.
As the McCanns will never face justice for negligence, the couple can be accused of it as much as the gang likes – with the transparent-pros agreeing with it – and so make the McCanns, who are the weakest links, to be for the general public (as in social media) the ONLY culprits of a crime that will never be solved.
The key lies in not having a dead body in the Scenic. Jules is too much of an idiot to grasp that. And as she has accustomed us all, loves to stick her foot real deep in her mouth as she has done again.
The gang fills the tag with absolute nonsense about Eddie so that all the useful discussions are about his alerts are buried. The other benefit to them was that anybody interested in the case would be met with a wall of idiotic tweets and be instantly put off from scrolling to find anything of value.
Returning to Jules and her dead body in the boot debate, the reader might wonder why it ever happened.

We have read that interview and X appears to be a perfectly normal individual. But it was 14 years ago and since then X may have developed serious mental health issues. We don’t know and that is entirely the point.
As we said, before Jules mentioned it, if true, no one but those close to the McCanns, and we mean really close, would know such intimate details.
If she’s telling the truth, Jules has to be someone very close, and we mean really close to the McCanns, unless she’s lying which is something that comes as a second nature to her.
To have said what she has claimed about X, there are only 2 possibilities.
One is that she is lying, which cannot be discarded as this foul individual has absolutely no limits about what she lies and the other is that she is telling the truth and that means she is close, directly or indirectly to the McCanns.
To her “apparently there's SS proof of [name redacted] being my RL friend”, unless she is lying in them her tweets are proof of a proximity between her and X.
We have an indication that she may well be telling the truth in this instance as her friend Frog has absolutely no problems with this disgusting revelation of something profoundly private of the McCann family. It’s like they are all a tight little group of people.
But there’s also an indication that she is just lying. Jules has referred to X has having an “intellectual disability” which is defined as an IQ less than 70-75, which would be a life- long condition and certainly not the person who is was interviewed in June 2007.

BenT has done it again. This time I will not put laughing out emojis because it’s about trusted friendship and betrayal, so not a laughing matter.
It involves Debbie and someone who she trusted completely. To the point of telling me “I would put my hands in the fire for…” that person.
The two visitors mentioned were Elaine and Debbie. Yes, I confirm that I asked Debbie not to approach Amaral. I made the same request to team members when they visited Lisbon and like with Debbie and Elaine they sat near where he was sitting and respected Amaral’s privacy. He is not a movie star and one just has to be near him few minutes to quickly realise that he likes privacy.
Plus, that coffee shop is a place of comfort for Amaral. Where he knows the regulars and the regulars know him. To have strangers walk up to him there, even if to praise him, would break the seal of safe place of privacy we are certain that coffee shop represents to him.
And Debbie, even with Amaral literally right next to him, respected that and paid the tab like she would if someone else was staying with her. Because she needed a translator to pay, I was next to her on the other side of Amaral. I will forever remember the eyes of her happiness that day.
A bit hypocritical of BenT to use Elaine to prove a point in his defense but then BenT is BenT. Nothing is beyond him except decency and honesty.
But the point of us publishing this tweet in the blog is because it exposes even further something we already knew: BenT could only have gotten that information from 1 person.
That person was the only one Debbie told about the visit. She told me that she had done so when she asked me with who she could share the fact that she had stood right next to Amaral, and I told her that if I was her, I wouldn’t tell anyone. She then said this “Oh, ok, but I have told XXX already, XXX is my best friend and someone who I trust completely! She won’t tell anyone, I will put my hands in the fire for XXX!”.
When BenT first mentioned Elaine’s and Debbie’s visit to Lisbon, we all, including Debbie, knew immediately who the rat was.
And now BenT has again exposed XXX. Betraying the trust of someone who betrayed trust as well. Well, they do belong with each other.
Debbie’s anniversary is fast approaching. Expecting for someone to express how much they were loved by Debbie. The sad part is that they really were.
By the way, Amaral believes a body, Maddie's body, was transported in the car.

Having to explain why Jules is certain there was a dead body in the boot of the Scenic while at the same time believing that Eddie was a cadaver and blood and also having to explain from where she got to know the private information (if true) she has made public about a close member of the McCann’s, she decides to only address the accusation of having done a “Nick Townsend” with Bob.
It seems that for Jules, a cadaver in the boot of the Scenic or the possibility of her being close to the McCanns pale in comparison about her doing or not a “Nick Townsend”.

Note how she tries to take the attention away from where she stuck her foot deeply in her mouth, her possible close proximity to the McCanns, to having been accused of by Miss J of being paid by X.
In fact, it was in response to this accusation from Miss J that she tweeted all that private information she claimed to know about X. Jules let’s anger blind her.
And talking about trying to distract on this subject, she has previously tried to do the same by inventing that she had been accused of being the first to bring up X.
Obviously wasn’t and was never accused of such and everyone knows that and whining about it just made her look even more pathetic than she already has.
What she’s being accused of is clear and it’s of making the following claims about X:
- “has an intellectual disability & isn't capable of understanding anything let alone paying anyone”;
- “wouldn't even begin to understand what happened with Madeleine because she has the mind of a child herself”;
- “with the mind of a child”.
If these claims are true and unless she can prove that she obtained this information from a public source, she could only have made them if she lied or if she is really close to X.
X is a very close family member of the McCann couple.
To refute that she’s not close to X, all Jules has to do is to reveal the public source from where she obtained such a personal, intimate and sensitive information that she apparently has about X.
And isn’t it laughable to read Jules demanding from others the provision of proof with her “Come on mouth, or are you lying, again..” after repeatedly and consistently failing to provide the BRT pics, of providing anything tangible regarding her claims about the alleged suicide note and now also failing provide any explanation about her claims about X?
If she wasn’t so shameless, it could be said that the lack of self-awareness is really abundant with this one.
It’s like she believes that she’s some kind of schoolyard bully who if she’s defiant and unhinged enough and able to stare down anyone else, whatever she says is to be accepted without question. It’s time she grew up.

Someone should tell Jules that a mole is someone on the inside, spilling the beans. To be a mole one has to be an insider. To have access to information that only those of the inner circle have. By calling Miss J a mole, she’s saying that Miss J has had access to that kind of information.
Jules apparently doesn’t understand that by calling Miss J a mole she’s just giving credibility to anything Miss J has to say about her, like the allegation of being paid by X, someone close to the McCanns?

We mentioned the 2 different reactions that Jules has when in damage control mode.
One is to do a “Nick Townsend”. In this variant, she debates. Meaning a pro has to summoned to validate what a great anti she is. This is what happened with Bob.
The other is to do a “JBLittlemore”. In this variant, she her opinions validated by agreement. Meaning that she has to have an anti to do agree, reinforce and say how right Jules is in whatever she has said, says and will say. Her favourite anti to summon is JBLittlemore.

I won’t confirm or deny. Nor ask for proof as she likes to do as I know it would be futile.

A new TV documentary looking into the disappearance of Madeleine McCann may reveal that key suspect Christian B was not involved.
Channel 5 is to air a three-part series which focuses on fresh leads that point towards two Russians who may have taken Madeleine from the McCann’s holiday apartment in 2007.
Led by an ex-police detective, the documentary is reported to speak to new witnesses.
A Portuguese source said: “The new information is pointing towards the fact two Russians could be behind it.”
It comes as Christian B has criticised the case that has been made against him by German prosecutors who have identified him as a prime suspect.
He wrote a letter to German media saying that the prosecution was “persecuting an innocent person”.
It is the first time he has commented publicly over the disappearance of Madeleine, with German prosecutors believing she is dead and claim to have evidence against Christian B.
Earlier this month police were given an extra £350,000 to try and find the culprit over the disappearance.
Operation Grange has now cost the taxpayer £12.5million since it was launched in 2011 and Met Police Commissioner Cressida Dick said the search for Madeleine will continue until there is “nothing left to do”.
A Home Office spokesperson said: "The Government has provided up to £350,000 for Operation Grange in 2021-22.
"In line with our Special Grant processes, funding for Operation Grange is approved on an annual basis.
"Ministers have approved a request for £349,328 of funding for this financial year.”

DeleteKLS was sentenced at Teesside Crown Court. Crown Court appeals are heard at criminal appeal court in London, so why would she be at York Crown Court?
As far as we are aware Crown courts only hear appeals from the lower division magistrate courts.
We couldn’t see it on the York Crown Court list today but there was one case with just a number.
Was this an attempt to get people to turn up in York or was it doing its usual belascoing and is just inventing other ways of how the process works?

We totally disagree with you. However much we would like to expose Jules for doing a “gender-change” – something her friends over at Justice For Madeleine do but strangely there it doesn’t bother her or accuse them of fishing – we have to stick to the truth, or at least the way we see the truth appears to be for us: this is someone trolling Jules and not Jules owning the pornn789237738 account.
Our reasoning:
We are certain that Jules and Shell communicate with each other directly over the phone. If there was some strange reason that made impossible the use of the phone, there is DM. It makes no sense Jules to communicate with Shell using a new account to either warn her about Karen or to advice to be careful in what she writes about her.
The message, plus the 3 options that follow it, “Do you want to let Jules message you? They won’t know you’ve seen their message until you accept” clearly indicates that not only pornn789237738 is NOT on Shell’s friend list as it shows that it was the first time it tries to communicate with her.
Then in one image, the account calls itself “Jules” and in the other “gentleman”. Why would Jules put her name on a message taking a dig at Karen to, of all people, to Shell? Makes no sense at all.
Also, the same with the avatar. In one it’s clearly (too clearly) Jules and in the other Oprah. Why would Jules put her avatar on a message taking a dig at Karen to, of all people, to Shell? Makes no sense at all.
This is clearly someone trying – and doing it very poorly – to pretend to be Jules to frame Jules.
If we had to make a guess on who is behind this, we would propose a name with the utmost ease. Someone who joined the gang not that long ago, but way before April 2021.
I haven't looked at Silver's archive but can imagine the mind-numbing banality of it all if it's anything like her blog. I have seen some of the videos she's currently publishing and what can one say? My main thought is that someone close to her should have a word instead of encouraging this craziness. Looking back Karen was probably doing her a favour pointing out her obsessive stalking & screengrabbing was ridiculous. Silver's life is literally ebbing away while she wastes so many hours on all this nonsense. Is there really nothing more worthwhile she could be doing? It's very sad actually. On a more serious note, all these false accusations she is making, such as accusing multiple people of being behind certain accounts ( because basically she hasn't a clue who is!), are WAY out of order! She's doing herself no favours putting it all online for her targets to use if they get fed up of her constant harassment. Difficult to know ho to deal with her but I'd suggest probably best to ignore, as I think a lot of her behaviour stems from her desire to be centre of attention, preferably as a victim.

Anyone in contact with Karen could clear this up, and they could also ask her how ill Shell made her feel when Shell said she would have to leave it up to her and Ben to get rid of Elaine, after police didn't arrest Elaine when they went to her house. Shell knew all about Karen's criminal past and that she had already been done for abuse on twitter, and she also knew Karen was going to prison for stealing her aunty's money, so Karen thought Shell was vindictive to lose it with her and Ben on twitter when she knew she was already in enough trouble. When Sid was the only one to go on twitter to be nice to Shell it was the last straw for Karen, because she and the rest of them know who Sid is. Only Shell doesn't seem to know who he is.

In 2007, the then three-year-old Madeleine (Maddie) McCann disappeared from a holiday apartment in a resort on the Portuguese Algarve coast. The investigations did not bring any results for years, in the meantime the parents were also suspected of having had something to do with the disappearance of their daughter. It wasn’t until the summer of 2020 that the breakthrough came when German investigators presented a new prime suspect: Christian B. (44). He has been in custody for a long time for other offenses.
The Braunschweig public prosecutor is now convinced that Maddie is dead. However, she has still not brought any charges against B. The authorities are said not to have even questioned the detained sex offender about the case. The former chief investigator Goncalo Amaral had repeatedly argued in the past that Gerry and Kate McCann had something to do with the disappearance of Maddie. The Portuguese police and chief investigator Amaral were also heavily criticized for their approach in the investigation. The now 61-year-old held on to his allegations even after his release. In a book that he published and in a Netflix documentary in 2019, he reiterated his allegations that the parents had staged a kidnapping.

In the «Bild» interview, Amaral followed twice. Brückner’s name was on a list of well-known pedophiles in the region around Praia de Luz shortly after Maddie disappeared. “There was a knock on his door, but he wasn’t home,” he explains. Amaral does not believe that the German broke into the McCanns’ vacation home, kidnapped the child and left no fingerprints. “The whole thing is only for the construction, so that people say: What a monster this Brückner is!” He also reiterates his allegations that the parents Gary and Kate McCann were indifferent to the news of their daughter’s disappearance at the time. The mother’s fingerprints are also the only ones found in the apartment.
The responsible public prosecutor in Braunschweig, Hans Christian Wolters, throws down the allegations. «We are not interested in the opinion of a Portuguese ex-police officer. We assume that he does not have our files. Therefore, his conclusions are completely irrelevant, ”he explains to the“ Bild ”newspaper.

The detective who led the bungled investigation into Madeleine McCann’s disappearance has made fresh vile slurs against her parents.
Goncalo Amaral repeated his false allegations falsely accusing Kate and Gerry McCann of being the “main culprits” for their daughter’s 2007 disappearance.
He also told German newspaper Bild that prime suspect, paedophile Christian Brueckner, is being framed for the crime.
Portuguese ex-cop Amaral cruelly claimed he has “no doubt” Madeleine’s kidnapping was staged as part of a cover-up.
The 61-year-old former head of the Policia Judiciaria is embroiled in a legal battle with Madeleine’s parents.
Kate and Gerry, from Rothley, Leics, were left heartbroken at their daughter’s disappearance.
Amaral was removed as head of the Portuguese police investigation in October 2007 after criticising British police officers.
In his interview with Bild, Amaral said: “Brueckner has nothing to do with Maddie's disappearance.
“It would not be the first time that a case is solved by constructing a suspect.”
In a vile slur, he then falsely claimed: “The main culprits for the disappearance are those who had custody: the parents.
“The German prosecutor should not keep claiming that he has something on Brueckner. Then charge him. Take him to court.
“And explain to me how someone broke into the flat without leaving fingerprints or traces of gloves.
“That way it only serves the construction, so people will say ‘What a monster this Brueckner is’.”
Kate and Gerry have spent over 14 years trying to find Madeleine and still believe she is alive somewhere.
They have also campaigned for missing children charities across the globe and highlighted other tragic cases.
Amaral, who now lives in Lisbon, admitted making mistakes in the early days of the police investigation.
“We approached the case as if something had been stolen: How did the perpetrators get to the scene? How did they leave? Are there traces of burglary, fingerprints?”, he told Bild.
“The investigation should have been more comprehensive, like a murder: securing biological traces, fibres, hair. That was a mistake.”
He confirmed Brueckner was on a list of paedophiles who were living in the area when Madeleine vanished.

Amaral previously claimed in a controversial book that Kate and Gerry covered up their daughter’s accidental death.
The couple sued in the Portuguese courts, sparking a bitter 10-year legal battle that still rumbles on.
Madeleine was three-years-old when she disappeared from her family’s Algarve apartment in May 2007.
At the time of her abduction Brueckner was living in a camper van close to Praia da Luz.
German and UK police first became aware of him as a suspect in 2017 but only went public with the information in June last year.
Since then senior investigators have interviewed a string of potential key witnesses in Germany and Portugal.
They include Brueckner’s British ex-girlfriend, who told how he brutally attacked her during their relationship.
The German denies being involved in Madeleine’s disappearance and has refused to speak to police or prosecutors.
Investigators revealed last year that his mobile phone ‘pinged’ near to the resort on the night she vanished.
Brueckner’s name was on a list of 600 people considered potentially significant to the case which was handed to British detectives.
But he only became a suspect in 2017 when a caller rang detectives with new information.
They claimed Brueckner told them that he knew what happened to Madeleine while sitting in a bar.
He is currently serving a seven-year sentence in a German prison for raping a pensioner in Praia da Luz.
Brueckner is also a suspect in a sex crime in an Algarve playground in 2017.
He was held on suspicion of exposing himself to children in Sao Bartolomeu de Messines, a 40-minute drive from Praia da Luz.
The ongoing investigation into Brueckner has been cloaked in secrecy since the announcement last year.
A secret summit took place in Lisbon last summer between detectives from Scotland Yard, the Policia Judiciaria and Bundeskriminalamt.

Former PJ police coordinator Gonçalo Amaral – the perceived ‘thorn in the side’ of the parents of missing Madeleine McCann – has burst back into the news this week, insisting on the theory covered in his first book published on the child’s disappearance.
The little girl’s abduction was “simulated” he has told German newspaper Bild; the current ‘principal suspect’ in the frame Christian Brückner “had nothing to do with Madeleine’s disappearance” and parents Kate and Gerry remain, in his opinion, the “principal people responsible”.
The timing of this interview has been pivotal. First, it fires yet another broadside at the ongoing German investigation (already showing signs of being shambolic click here), second it rekindles interest in the world’s longest running missing person’s mystery ahead of publication of Amaral’s second book, due out in October.
His first “Maddie: The Truth of the Lie” ended up seeing the 61-year-old former PJ police chief pilloried through the courts. The process was a rollercoaster through which at times it seemed he had ‘lost everything’. But in 2017, after six years of litigation, the Supreme Court upheld his right to freedom of expression, and the McCanns appeared to have lost their million-euro defamation case against him (click here).
The McCanns have appealed to the European Court of Human Rights, but in this case the ‘complaint’ is directed at Portugal and Portuguese Justice rather than Mr Amaral.
Since the McCann’s legal defeat, focus on the former police inspector has waned. The Madeleine mystery however gained new traction last summer when German prosecutors came out with the bizarre claim that they ‘knew’ the child was dead, but they just needed to find the evidence (click here) incriminating Brückner .
On Tuesday night, Amaral revisited this line of inquiry, trashing it wholeheartedly: how could Brückner have entered the apartment from which Madeleine went missing without leaving one fingerprint or biological trace, he queries. And how come the presumed point of entry – an open window into the bedroom where Madeleine lay sleeping with her siblings – only had prints, from the inside, of mother Kate?
None of Mr Amaral’s points are ‘new’. But his reappearance now, and the prospect of another book that has been years on the back burner, suggests new revelations could be on the way.
One comment made to Bild this week referred to Madeleine’s medical history. “Neither the parents nor the British authorities would allow access to this document”, said the former detective.

A CARTOON found inside Madeleine McCann prime suspect Christian B's prison cell appears to mock prosecutors as the sketch shows the cops asking a clairvoyant for help.
The convicted paedophile, 44, who German investigators believe murdered three-year-old Madeleine in 2007, is currently locked up in solitary confinement at Oldenburg prison near Bremen.
The cartoon drawing, allegedly sketched by Christian B and published by BILD, appears to show German prosecutor Hans Christian Wolters stood in court holding a €5 bill while asking a clairvoyant for advice on the case.
The clairvoyant - understood to be Michael Schneider who has given the cops coordinates of where he thinks Madeleine was buried - is seen dressed in orange with curly red hair looking into a glass ball.
The sketch shows the rest of the court sleeping while the suspect looks surprised with a question mark above his head.
Christian B is currently serving seven years for the rape of an elderly woman in Praia da Luz in Portugal’s Algarve coast in 2005 who was attacked in her own home.
German officials are continuing to compile evidence against Christian B, who became the prime suspect in Madeleine's disappearance in June 2020.
So far, the suspect has not been questioned or charged in the case.
In a new documentary, The Maddie McCann Case, Wolters said: "I never said that we couldn't prosecute him.
"We have no pressure at the moment. It looks like he will be in custody for the next few years. That means - he won't run away from us. We will take the time we need."
Christian B branded the investigation against him as "scandalous" in a letter penned from his cell in May.
In the letter he claimed the public prosecutor had "brought shame to the legal system".
It comes after the ex-cop who led the Madeleine investigation before being fired claimed Christian B is innocent - and blamed her parents for her disappearance.
Shameless Goncalo Amaral has repeatedly made unfounded allegations that Gerry and Kate McCann killed their daughter - and has now insisted he believes the kidnapping was "only simulated".
The retired detective led the initial hunt when Madeleine went missing from the Ocean Club holiday complex in Praia da Luz and made her devastated parents official suspects.
He was removed as head of the investigation after criticising British detectives and claiming they were only following leads the McCanns asked them to pursue.
Amaral has remained outspoken on the case, and has claimed prime suspect Christian B had "nothing to do with Maddie's disappearance" in an interview with BILD for the new documentary.
"It wouldn't be the first time a case has been solved by constructing a suspect," he said.
"The main culprits for the disappearance are those who had custody - the parents.

The first time we found out Ponce tells lies about going to Portugal was when Jim Gamble threatened them with legal action. It came from EJ who knew Ponce quite well. Since Anvil and Loverandomleigh were under the worst threats from the gang Ponce has changed their name to Frankie The PoD, but not changed their @ name, which is a bit fishy.

When Rebecca's mother was stalked and contacted by the gang on facebook with fake concerns over Rebecca's mental health, a lot of stuff came out from ex mods who said Zora and Ben force people to be fb friends with them before allowing them to be members of McCann groups and save their personal information to use against them if they step out of line. This is how photos of ex friends who have been banned from groups are available to be used years later by the gang on twitter and blogs to embarrass and silence people after they have protected their accounts. Mods are also told to make fake fb accounts and twitter socks to contact other mods, so there is no trace of what they get up to in their own names.

The McCann 'coven' as someone once called it, seem to have an agreement between themselves to use the terms 'harassment of women' and doxing children' as their go-to position in order to silence those who interfere with their agenda. They're not beneath naming someone's place of employment and contacting their employers in an attempt to get them fired. Or suggesting someone's child has mental health problems because, hey! they 'found' the child's account on Facebook or its equivalent! They do it without any sense of shame or embarrassment.

ReplyDeleteWe have observed how Wolters has tried to minimise its impact by bluffing that Brueckner will be charged by Christmas this year. We believe that he’s already changed his mind and has postponed that charging to next year. Also says he has no body and no DNA evidence – and we believe no confession – but remains 100% certain that Brueckner killed Maddie while at the same time tells the McCanns not to lose hope.
We have also watched the various programmes aired by CMTV in most of which Amaral has been able to say some very interesting things out of which we obviously noted that he says that the PJ thought very early on that both the tennis and pool photo were tampered with.
However, before we believe that only once we read his book, can we have certainty of what it really says and hopefully see clearly the reasons why it was written.
We hope to buy the book on the 14th, meanwhile we remain observant.
We would like to point out that neither pool photo nor the tennis photo were used in Kate’s book, despite the fact that the tennis photo was supposedly one of Gerry’s favourites and the pool photo was supposedly the last photo of Maddie, taken by Kate.
DeleteOne of the many things that Amaral is being pointing out is the disappearance of both the pink blanket and the camera and which were both photographed on the night of May 3 by the PJ and are in the Files. Maybe that camera which was never handed to the PJ could contain the ORIGINAL of one or maybe both of them?
We inform readers that we have bought Amaral’s book. Hopefully we were one of many who today bought it together with the paper edition of CdM, a nice way to give it a real boost of publicity.

Fortunately – because real life takes precedence over blog matters – one team member will be busy this weekend. That means that it will be read with even greater calmness and will only discuss it between ourselves on Monday.
So far – and we won’t reveal how far – we have found somethings that are said to be very interesting and others that we disagree with.

We inform readers that team had the first meeting about the book today.
ReplyDeleteThe first thing that has to be said is that it is quite a complex reading due to the amount of information it contains.
The book can be divided into 2 parts, the Maddie case and Christian Brueckner. We it’s would say that up Chapter 24, it’s about Maddie and 25 to 38 about Brueckner. In Chapter 39 he makes quite an extensive list of proposals for diligences to be taken to continue the investigation.
About Maddie, those of us familiar with the case – and one does need to be familiar with it to fully grasp the content – there are some things we hope to highlight later but it can be said that it was useful to better understand his opinion on various issues, independent of whether one agrees or not with it.
About Brueckner, it contains 2 surprises in our opinion. The first is the amount and detail of information about the case the book contains and the second surprise – without judging Brueckner’s character who seems to be, using Amaral’s words “a flower that one shouldn’t smell” – the absurdity of the accusations against him BOTH in the case that he’s serving prison time for and in the attempt of linking him to Maddie’s case.
Unless there is something new we simply cannot see, no matter how much imagination is used, the faintest possibility of linking him to her death.
Between ourselves today we basically just went over Chapter 39 and didn’t even finish it. We still have to decide on what will be the best way to present our opinion on the book to our readers.
We would like to clarify straight away that Amaral has not suggested anyone has yet provided an alibi for Brueckner on the night of May 3. He does imply that there may be someone that may well be able to do that but is very clear that said person has yet to speak to any police force. This is what he says about the issue, on Chapter 39, pg 275:
ReplyDelete- identification, locating and inquiring Christian B’s girlfriend, who is said that, on May 2007, was a German citizen, currently with 41 yrs, who left Portugal via Faro Airport, on May 10 2007, where she was detained for possession of a gas weapon, to determine where was Christian B on the night of May 3 2007. This witness has never been heard by any police;
For reference to this woman’s present age, the book is signed at the end as being finished on Feb 01 2021: “Olivais Sul, 1 de fevereiro de 2021”.
We decided to translate “detida” as detained – it could be translated as arrested – as we imagine that when Amaral speaks of “a gas weapon” he’s referring to mace, something that many women transport with themselves for personal defense, so nothing suspicious about this, in our opinion.
We also like to inform that Amaral considers 2 other theories – death before the 3rd and Maddie walking out on by herself – but it is very clear throughout the entire book that he maintains his opinion that Maddie died on May 3.
In fact, when considering the death before May 3 he destroys the thesis by saying that he considers that the pool photo is a photo-montage (the defenders of this theory are ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN, even claiming scientific support without detailing which, that the photo has NOT been tampered with, only its date was manipulated) and by saying on Chapter 22 pg 154 that “This is the opinion of those investigators, but there exist statements of witnesses who state having seen the child after 29 April.”
As this involves an issue we have dealt with in detail, obviously we will return to it on a later date.
Today I had a half an hour to kill of my time. Decided to visit a local book-shop (Bertrand) to see if I could see how well Amaral’s book was doing.
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I didn’t think it would be faring well, not because it doesn’t have merit for that to happen, it does, but because of the marketing initiative by CM (Correio da Manhã) on Oct 14, when they sold the book together with the paper edition. I expected that then most of those interested, like myself, would have bought it and that would have affected negatively the sales of the book in book-shops.
Bertrand is one of those book-shops that have a stand showing the top sales, fiction and non-fiction categories.
On #1 non-fiction, Amaral’s book. With the peculiarity that only 1 copy was on the stand. It usually has below the ranking numbers 3 or 4 copies, if for nothing else to call the attention to whatever books happen to have earned a place on that stand. So that copy stood out because it was alone.
Walked around the shop and failed to see any copy of the book available for sale. Headed to the counter, where a lady was buying Amaral’s book, and I asked where I could find copies of the book in the store. The lady replied that the copy on the ranking stand was the last one left. All others had been sold.
Also in today’s paper edition of “i”, its front page main articles: “Price raise of oil causes earthquake” and “In the Maddie case, we only didn’t get to the truth because of mere political question”. A picture of Amaral and in slightly smaller letters “No one heard me. Nor me, nor other colleagues. They don’t want things to go forward”.
Amaral today appeared on CMTV’s morning programme. Yesterday he appeared in the afternoon programme hosted by Hernâni Carvalho.
We would say that this “offensive” which was very well executed by Amaral, doesn’t allow any space for the Germans to make something palpable out of the farce they created. A creation as Amaral shows in his book, “Grange, Rechen & Associates”.
Rechen is the name of the German operation and we are supposing that Associates refers to the powerful in the shadows pulling the strings of both Grange and Rechen but only Amaral can clarify that.
We will, on our rhythm, express our opinions on the book separating the analysis of it in the 2 parts we think it has: Maddie and Brueckner.
ReplyDeleteWe will start with Brueckner first, who first appears in the book in Chapter 25 – The Construction of a Suspect.
It is clear that Amaral thinks that Rechen (name of the German operation pursuing the investigation of Brueckner (Rechen stands for Rake)) is an operation that already has many years. In fact, Chapter 20 is called «Grange, Rechen & Associates» and Ecce Homo. This chapter is about Tannerman. We remind readers that Tannerman (Ecce Homo) appeared in October 2013 in the same so-called documentary that the 2 e-fits made their public debut.
With the title of this chapter – still in the part dedicated to Maddie – Amaral links Grange and Rechen.
Back to Chapter 25, he quotes Luís Neves, present head of the PJ, the words he said to Amaral during the Lisbon trial, which he attended out of free will “«They…» - wanting to refer to the British police – «should already have found someone who would fit in the profile of abductor. The suspicion would remain and the case would finish»”.
Amaral says that NPIA was ignored because it said the parents should be considered in the investigations but Grange and Rechen with the cooperation of the Portuguese police follow one direction, to find an individual who fits the desired profile. Reaffirms that the Portuguese justice cannot let go of its competence and become a mere cooperative spectator.
A name in the PJ Files seems to fit: a 31 yr old (in 2007), male, residing in the area, suspect of robbing apartments in PdL and with an history of crimes against children.
A German citizen who up to 2015 only has 1 sentence for sexual abuse of children and sexual acts which happened in 1995. Because of this sentence he moved to the South of Portugal with a girlfriend. In Portugal he lives off seasonal work and according to friends and acquaintances, of burglary, receipt of stolen solar panels and diesel. For this last crime, stealing fuel he was in prison in 2006.
In 2014, BKA has access to a Skype chat of March 29 2013 between a wahnsinnderholger (google translate: insane recuperator), Brueckner and a Frank S.. In this convo, wahnsinnderholger says “«[…] finally I want to f*ck a little one! […] take something small and use it for days […]»”
When alerted to the risks of such acts wahnsinnderholger replies “Oh, if the evidence is destroyed after”. This is interpreted as wanting to kill his victim.
This wahnsinnderholger doesn’t stop there (sexual abuse and murder) he also wants to film the abuse while torturing the victim.
This shows that since 2014 the police knew that wahnsinnderholger had the intention of filming the torture and sexual abuse. This before any other said credible witness having come forward formally.
But what wahnsinnderholger writes does not match his acts. In June 16 2013 – 2 months after that chat conversation – CB took very abusive pictures of a 4yr old girl. He photographed her genitalia among other, according to the police, sensual poses. These photos were found in a house search on July 2 2014. At the time the victim was not identified (will be identified later in the book). CB was sentenced to 1 yr and 3 months and reason why he was extradited from Portugal in 2017.
It’s not known what happened to these photos but shows that although having in “his possession” a child, he did not have sex with her, did not torture or kill her contrary to the desires expressed in the convo with Frank S.

We would like to highlight that according to the above, although wahnsinnderholger seems to be perfectly aware that any and all evidence that the heinous acts he describes in the conversation and supposedly intends to pursue, needs to be destroyed but later has evidence (the pictures of the 4yr old) that is found by the police.

No interview with the suspect, no DNA, no body, no witnesses on the night to identify him and he’s yet to be charged! But, hey, if this goes well, then charges may even appear. Who knows?
Will his mock defence use the PJ Files? We know the real defence would, but this is a mock(ery) one, so who knows? Will the defence be only pretending to be the defence like many antis pretend to be antis?
Who will play the judge? Has to be the same as later in the real trial because, if not then the decisions may differ and that renders the script useless and the mock trial a… mockery.
Who will play CB? Or will it be a trial without a defendant to defend himself? Again, anything can happen as this is a mock(ery)
Can anyone point out where it has EVER been a mock trial to test evidence?
Is it in Germany a legal argument to say in one’s defence “Officer, I was indeed holding a gun, I was indeed pointing it to the teller and demanding that money be handed over to me BUT in realty I wasn’t robbing the bank, I was just rehearsing to test the feasibility of the robbery and as it clearly didn’t work, otherwise you wouldn’t be here, I now must go home and figure what kind of a crime I must rehearse next. ReplyDeleteChapter 26 – The Ocasional Discovery
In Neuwegersleben, on January 14 2016, CB’s neighbour calls the local police because of a nauseating smell that came from a certain place of the plot where CB resided in an autocaravan. The stink was so intense that unlike the earth it did not freeze.
30 cm (1 ft) deep the police found the dead body of a Labrador and underneath it a LIDL supermarket bag containing «firewood».
It was found and apprehended in the LIDL bag 6 pen-drives and 2 memory cards which contained “photos of children, including those of an unknown child in sensual poses and, mainly, Word documents which the police responsible for the find describe as writings about serious sexual abuse against children. Later, BKA identifies these and other writings as two documents produced by the suspect with the titles of «Das Buch» [Google translate: «The Book»] and «Das Buch 1». These «books» said to be autobiographic speak of himself and of friends and describe criminal practices. It’s unknown if we are before realities or pure fantasies, but the fact is that the finding of all this material was and is useful for the construction of a suspect.”
For the sexual abuse by production of photos against an unidentified child the suspect is condemned to 1 year and 3 months in prison.
On June 8 2016, an arrest warrant for the possession of child porn was issued. Two months later [August 2016], not knowing the whereabouts of the sentenced man, a European arrest warrant was issued.
In June 2017, CB was arrested in São Bartolomeu de Messines, in the Algarve when the GNR was called because he was either urinating or exhibiting himself in front of children in a local festivity.
On June 26 2017 CB is extradited to Germany to serve his sentence.
Only in July 2018, is the child in the photos identified. She was 4 yr old at the time and is the daughter of a female friend of CB. They met in Germany at the beginning of 2013. The child’s mother even declares that she doesn’t believe CB had abused her daughter but the police “made the point of stressing that he had been condemned for child sex abuse, in question the production of photos.”
We would just to like to point out that we find it strange how in winter, in Germany, outdoors, there can be a smell, even of o rotting dead dog buried a foot deep that would alert a neighbour. Freezing slows down the decomposition process and, as far as we know, rotting tissue freezes like any other.
DeleteThen, we saw in Chapter 15 that Brueckner seems to be fully aware of the need to destroy damning evidence of heinous acts/crimes, goes and buries under a dead dog, just a foot deep, 8 electronic memory devices. Out of which, it is described this far, 2 Word docs and photos of a child are found. Basically, it seems at least, the vast majority of the devices didn’t contain damning information, so why hide them beneath a dead dog?
Then, what would be the purpose of hiding the pens and cards beneath the dog, outdoors in the middle of winter?
If to retrieve them later, then we think that burying them in the ground, a wet and frozen ground, is not the best place even if in a plastic bag which, being a supermarket bag was not a sealed container. Humidity does tend to damage irreversibly such devices – and here it is pertinent to raise the question, how was the police able to retrieve any information from them? Humidity from natural causes, one has to add to the humidity from the fluids from the decomposition of the dog.
If the purpose was to retrieve, then it seems very logic that one would use a small container, a box or a jar, bury it in the yard and it would be close to impossible to ever be found.
If the intent was to destroy, it seems to us that the best way to go about it would be to use a hammer and then dispose of it via common garbage.
The circumstances in which this evidence was found, is to us very suspicious.
We have only written the synopsis for 2 chapters but having read the book in its entirety, we think best to construct a timeline regarding Brueckner. As the reader will quickly see, it will become confusing, very difficult to follow.

- June 8 2016 – an arrest warrant for the possession of child porn was issued by Germany. (Chapter 26)
- August 2016 – a European arrest warrant was issued. (Chapter 26)
- June 2017 – CB is arrested in São Bartolomeu de Messines (Algarve) for either urinating or exhibiting himself in front of children. (Chapter 26)
- June 26 2017 – CB is extradited to Germany to serve his sentence. (Chapter 26)
- July 2018 – the child in the photos is identified as the daughter of a female friend of CB who says she doesn’t believe CB had abused her daughter. (Chapter 26)
As can be seen there are 2 contradicting dates regarding the house search in Germany, July 2 2014 and January 14 2016.

The 2014 search was carried out at a Braunschweig apartment, where he was living at the time. CSA had been seen on his computer by the girfriend.

ReplyDeleteChapter 27 – The Petty Criminal
There seems to be someone who seems to have a memory that doesn’t betray them and that person is a self-claimed petty criminal arrested in Greece in 2015 for human trafficking, for which he was sentenced to seven years and 3 months in prison.
This individual while serving his sentence decided to contact Operation Grange.
Helge B, a German citizen who lived in Germany until 1993, then moved to Nice and in 1994 to Corsega, where he seems to currently reside. There, he started to live with a French woman and they had a son.
In 2001 or 2002 he left his family, leaving them their house and 2 cars and took with him 30,000€ to restart his life.
Marseille, Paris, Barcelona and Valencia, where he met Manfred S, another German traveller.
Once the money ran out, he started a life of crime of burglaries, robberies and other crimes.
In 2003, he settled together with Manfred S, in a hippie community in the Spanish town of Órgiva [about 600km East of Praia da Luz, to have an idea, Seville, North of the Gibraltar, is roughly in between them].
He used to come to the South of Portugal to steal fuel, solar panels and other items. When in Portugal he used an autocaravan parked in Fazenda Rebelde, in Santa Clara, near the dam with the same name in the Alentejo [about 85 km NNE of Praia da Luz], where there is a large German community. The owner of the Fazenda Rebelde is a German citizen known as Cheyenne.
In 2005, in Órgiva, he met the German Michael T, quoting Amaral: “…an individual that, like with Manfred S, is described by the criminal as a junkie and alcoholic, besides being stupid. This Michael T was integrated in the practice of stealing solar panels, joining Helge B and Manfred S.”
Helge B states that in the beginning of 2006, when Michael T was already living in the Algarve, he came to Portugal with Manfred S who had set up a meeting with Michael T although they were in a state of disagreement.
This is how Amaral describes the encounter between Christian Brueckner and Helge B:
“The meeting will have happened in a bar in Portimão. Michael T arrived with the person in whose house he lived at the time, a German who presented himself as Christian, known as Oberkellner [Google translate: Head Waiter], by the careful way of dressing, with buttoned-up shirts and always with a jacket. It was the now suspect Christian B.
For the criminal there was something strange about Christian B, not knowing the reason for having that bad impression. On the other hand, Christian B was suspicious of Helge B and did not allow that he, that night, accompany him to his house. He stayed in the bar waiting for Manfred S’s return with the stolen solar panels given by Michael T and Christian B.
Two or three days after this first encounter. Michael T and Christian B appeared in Órgiva to sell solar panels. Helge B was not happy with the situation, as it was him who held there the exclusive of that illegal commerce. The bad relations between him and Christian B must have further deteriorated, even because, at that moment, he took Michael T aside and told him of his displeasure. Christian will have been aware of these comments. To Helge B, it wasn’t enough the lack of trust shown by Christian B in the first encounter towards himself, he further had had the nerve to come to Órgiva to meddle in his business”.
Sometime later, date unknown, Helge B and Manfred S when in Fazenda Rebelde got to know that Christian Brueckner and Michael T were in prison for fuel theft. They, Helge B and Manfred S decided to steal fuel from deposits they knew existed near Brueckner’s house.

ReplyDeleteAmaral then describes this way the third encounter between CB and HG:
“In March 2008, Helge B was still living and doing business in Órgiva when he saw and talked again with Christian B. At first, he was afraid that he knew who the authors of the burglary of his house were, even because a lot of people got to know it, but even though there was this fear, and that Christian had been suspicious of him from day one, the petty criminal with very fragile principles will make a relevant and compromising confession with a future impact. It is to be highlighted that Christian B’s stay at Órgiva at said date is confirmed by the fact that he had an accident with the autocaravan he used. The accident was reported to the insurance company (German), but it is not known when did the German police got to know of this event.”
In 2010, a 40 yr old Helge B, holding a huge secret and penniless leaves Órgiva and heads for Italy.
On April 22 2011, in Brindisi, in the Italian region of Apulia, while homeless he’s arrested for “participation in a fight, resisting and threatening the police and abusive possession of wounding objects”
Days before, he had been arrested for the theft of 20€ and violent aggression on a young Polish homeless woman.
Even though he had this direct contact with the police and judicial authorities, he doesn’t make use of the secret.
Helge B is arrested in Igoumenitsa. Greece, for being caught red-handed trafficking 3 illegal immigrants. Initially he was arrested for 5 days and then again doesn’t use Christian Brueckner’s confession.
In 2015 he’s sentenced to seven years and 3 months in prison in Crete for human trafficking even though he claims he was just giving them a ride.
Strangely, he was released on parole in April 12 2017 when the sentence would end in 2021.
Such an early release raises the suspicion that something strange may have happened, eventually having used the pseudo-secret he held all those years.
In Amaral’s words:
“What is known is that he was approached by elements of the British police from operation «Grange», after phone contact made by the prisoner’s initiative and that, months after his release on parole, he was being formally heard as a witness against Christian B.
The police authorities involved in the «discovery of the secret» say that this petty criminal, thief, women aggressor and traveller linked to the consumption of alcohol and drugs, former homeless, provided the information in a voluntary way without any money or other considerations, even though, at the time of providing the information, was serving a heavy prison sentence.
Manfred S, his companion in the criminal life of over 20 years, someone who knows well Helge B, defines this individual as a manipulator, a frightening opinator, dominant and aggressive, who makes other people evil in order to be well seen by those listening to him. Helge B presents himself as a «good boy», if «he puts in the effort, can express himself and sell very well». He’s a junkie, has consumed all one can imagine, from crack to heroin, cocaine, cannabis and mushrooms. After his stay in prison things got a bit better but, after four months, he consumed drugs again.”

On this Chapter, we would like to highlight what Amaral is trying to convey: the time it took Helge B to tell authorities about the alleged confession.

A further £1,500,000 (€2,200,000) was raised through a News of The World pledge, including £250,000 from the News of the World themselves, £250,000 from Sir Philip Green, £50,000 from Simon Cowell and £25,000 from Wayne and Coleen Rooney.
Other notable contributors include Sir Richard Branson, JK Rowling, and Bill Kenwright. Harry Potter author JK Rowling donated the highest amount to the News of The World fund, but her figure was undisclosed.”
Also, we ask readers to retain the fact that until he goes there to steal fuel from deposits that allegedly existed near it, Helge B had never been before in Christian's B house and from what we can understand after reading the book, he never went there again.

On Feb 2 2018, Helge B is in London where he gives formal statements in German to the Met. Very unlikely that it was him paying for his travel and staying expenses.
Amaral writes:
“Helge B’s statement was previously prepared, having the investigators signs of just that. Photos of people, places and vehicle are shown, which allows for the conclusion that this statement wasn’t spontaneous, that is, was advised or forced, that it wasn’t made or said out of free will, done by itself and without apparent cause. Note that Helge B even says «today, those photos were shown to me again», that is, the photos, including those of Christian B, had already been shown but it’s registered that he recognised him».”
Another passage from the book about Helge B’s statement:
“An excerpt taken from Helge B’s statement proves that in fact the police pursued Christian B for some time: «Today it was also shown to me object of proof MRD/17. It was three pages with a total of 16 photos. I was asked if I recognised some of the photos. I recognised Christian in 5 of the photos, the ones with the numbers 2, 3, 5, 9 and 15. I didn’t recognise anyone else in them and none of the vehicles. It was also shown me the evidence object MRD/18. It was a series of further 12 photos. Immediately I recognised in photo 8 the Jaguar model that Christian used to drive. Photo 9 shows a car that looks like the front of a Mercedes. I remember Christian having a Mercedes like that when he was in Portugal. Photo 11 shows an American motorhome but there aren’t enough details to confirm if it was the one I saw Christian in the Pipas Festival of 2008. Photo 12 shows a solar system typical of residential buildings like those in Portugal.»”
This statement is from an individual who only met the British investigators in August 2017, in Greece, months after being released on parole and a little after Christian B’s extradition to Germany.
This is done to try and hide the fact that Helge B first contacted the British police when he was still in prison.
According to Manfred S, Helge B had shown the intent of talking to the British police, having referred to the reward of over a million pounds in the UK.
One of he encounters between Helge B and the British police happened in hotel in Athens under severe security in relation to tappings and recordings but a journalist got to know what had happened and went after Helge B.
In the summary of his life Helge B omits facts about his life that would allow better understand his character, namely the detention in Brindisi for beating violently a young woman for 20€.
It seems that the British police doesn’t seem to be interested in Helge B’s past. He minimises his human trafficking crime into him just giving a ride to 3 hitchhikers and the investigators by omission seem to agree with this.
About Christian B’s confession to Helge B Amaral writes:
“[Helge B] Compromises, discredits and bad-mouths brazenly the other companions in crime, namely Manfred S and Michael T, characterising them as junkies and alcoholics, a portrayal in which he includes himself. It’s not of interest to talk to them about what Christian B had confided to him in the Pipas Festival, in March 2008 in the town of Órgiva. Christian B would have said that he was involved in the abduction of Madeleine McCann. Helge B assumes himself as the only beholder of the information.”
The reason Helge B gives for never telling the police about what he came to know via the assault into Christian B’s home and about the confession was because he, Helge B wanted to talk to the police but his friend Manfred S considered that to be a treason. Because of this difference of opinions, they fell out. But even falling out, Helge B did not seek the police, preferring to keep the information for a better occasion.

ReplyDeleteHelge B’s statement is centred on the assault that he and Manfred S did on Christian B’s home when he was in prison together with Michael T in 2006. In this regard, Amaral writes “To some, it was verified and considered as a trusted source, only not conveying his worries to the Portuguese police because, when he tried to do it, he was fooled.”
As Helge B had been in Christian B’s house only once – during the robbery – Helge B places the house near Portimão [about 30Km East of Luz]. The investigators use satellite images to place the house near Luz. It’s another detail that shows that they didn’t need Helge B to identify Christian B or his house, as they already knew that, but wanted him for other information.
This is how Amaral writes about Helge B describing Christian B’s house:
“Describes the house inhabited by Christian B, in 2006, as being white, isolated, near a tourist complex, red tile roof, with cars parked outside. For him, a tree had grown in the centre of the living-room of the house, and the trunk reached the roof. The house was made up of 2 bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and living-room, and a terrace at the back.
In the exterior of the house there was a tank with 1,000 litres of diesel. In Helge B’s words, the house had items from burglaries: clothes, video cameras and personal computers.
In the night he arrived, driven by Manfred S, the glass pane of one of the windows was broken. There had been previously another burglary and the door was slightly open. The objects, probably stolen, were scattered everywhere, «it was like being in Aladdin’s cave».”
Helge B decides to take some objects, chooses not to take the personal computers because these could be located, showing that he’s a careful thief. Amaral notes that in burglaries it is not normal for personal computers not to be stolen.
In a wardrobe, he finds 2 video cameras Sony. For him, the wardrobe obviously belonged to Christian B because it had clothes that he usually wore and it was very tidy. This is a very strange statement to be made by someone who up until then had only seen Christian B once.
The video cameras contained their respective tapes and he took 20 more tapes that were in a box because they could be reused.
In the middle of so many objects, Helge B’s attention focused on a pair of swimming goggles with their lenses painted grey. He says he found them strange because no one could see through them and because for that reason he never forgot them.
Besides the cameras and the tapes he also took a revolver and 200 to 300 litres of diesel, taken from the tank outside.
Amaral calls the attention to that when one investigates a burglary, one of the questions that has to be asked is how did they arrive there and how did they get out of there with the stolen objects. The burglar says he took 200 to 300 litres of diesel but doesn’t say how nor is he questioned about that. If in an inquiry of a burglary, there’s an absence of questions about details of the burglary then that shows that the intent of the questioning is not about the burglary but about what the witness will say next.
Because he didn’t understand nothing about guns, it wasn’t him who took the revolver but Manfred S who later threw it in the Santa Clara dam.
After the burglary, they returned to Fazenda Rebelde.

ReplyDeleteHelge B details what he saw in the tapes he says he stole. Amaral writes:
“Having come to this point in the narration of Helge B’s statement, made in London, on February 2 2018, we opt to let him speak: «I went to my autocaravan with the cameras and tapes. I was curious to know what they had. I then began to watch the images. Some of the tapes were clearly from tourists, others were of birthday parties, etc. Obviously, they were stolen.
Then I started to watch a video where I believe a woman was raped. It was shocking. The location was obviously a season rented house. What bothered me the most, meanwhile, was the fact that Christian had committed the crime. The video showed a white woman, between 70 and 80 yrs, lying on her belly, on a bed. Although the man was fully dressed, I was able to see him taking the penis from his trousers, placing a condom.
The hands of the woman were tied behind her back. The man turned her on her back and, even though I couldn’t say if he was inserting the penis in her, the way he moved indicated that he was making sex with her.
She wore a sweater [‘camisola’, which can also be translated as blouse] with flowers that was pulled up to the waist. She screamed [‘gritava’, which can also be translated as shouted] and scolded the man, and screamed “you bastard” and “you shit idiot” with a British accent.
The man was dressed all in black and used a mask similar to the one used by a cyclist under the helmet, with only 2 holes for the eyes and one for the mouth.
The woman wore swimming goggles painted grey and similar to those that I had seen before in Christian’s house in Portimão.
As soon as the man stopped, I saw him remove the condom from the penis. He then went out of the angle of the camera, but it could be heard the sound of flushing. The man then came back and started to whip the women on her chest [‘peito’, can also be translated as breasts] and face with a small leather whip with a broad tip. He gave her at least 20 lashes. It seemed that he was trying to leave marks. She screamed while this was happening. Then I saw him sitting on the edge of the bed, breathing with difficulty.
The man took off the mask and I could see clearly it was Christian. I found it hard to believe, I was shocked. I asked Manfred to come and take a look. He also recognised Christian in that video, but Manfred did not want to have anything to do with that. He watched briefly the video and left.
The video ends with Christian placing a pillow on the face of the victim which made her scream. The taping was made with 2 cameras; apparently Christian had placed the cameras in different positions to film the rape. In 2 of the videos I saw, the rape can be seen from 2 different angles».
After reading and rereading Helge B’s statement something doesn’t add up. A rental property is mentioned but not explained why it is so. The taping of the rape was done like a movie, with 2 cameras which allowed the recording of the same act with different angles. Are we before a homemade BDSM porn movie or a real and horrific act of rape?

ReplyDeleteReturning Helge B’s statement, he says that besides that taping, he saw another, in which a young woman was abused sexually. Again, from the book:
“Describes what he watched in the following way: «Another video showed Christian whipping a teenager. She was tied to a tree. Immediately I recognised the tree as the one in the living-room of Christian’s house in Portimão. The arms were around the tree and handcuffed.
The girl was 15 or 16 yr old, was white, thin, was 1,60 to 1,70 m tall, long dark hair, used glasses and was naked. Christian used only shorts. He was sitting in a couch, facing her, and laughing.
The girl screamed and said in German that he should stop; she called him Chris and said: “This is abduction, this is rape”. Christian laughed to what she said.
I didn’t watch completely the video, but during the clip that I saw Christian didn’t touch the girl physically. The angle of the camera was so high that the girl may not have realised that she was being filmed».”
Helge B says he didn’t recognise or knows the girl, nor does he know where she is from. Says that Manfred S told him that Christian B knew a woman who ran a house for «difficult girls» from Germany in São Bartolomeu de Messines, in the Algarve. That the girl could have come from there, even because Manfred S told him the woman had already given Christian B one of those difficult girls in exchange for money.
Without any other info or proof, Helge B is quick to conclude that that Christian B «obviously stole appliances such as refrigerators and washing machines for this woman» and that the girl in the tape should be one of the difficult girls from São Bartolomeu de Messines.
Helge B says that he was worried after watching the videos as he now knew that Christian B was in reality a sick and crazy person. He didn’t know what to do with that first secret so he hid the tapes in the top storage compartment of his autocaravan and didn’t look for the police to report the crimes that he had just witnessed and that had shocked him but knew how to sell the cameras for 50€ each.
The autocaravan remained in Fazenda Rebelde while Helge B and Manfred S returned to Órgiva.
After he left prison, in December 2006, Michael T went to live in Órgiva, where Helge B confided in him that «when he was in prison, Christian was worried with the possibility of having problems if the police found his address. It was about something that was there. I knew what that was what the videos meant».
This conclusion that Helge B came to about Christian B’s worries is interesting. The house was filled with stolen material, an «Alladin’s cave», the owner was in prison for stealing diesel with a deposit with 1,000 litres of stolen diesel next to his house but Helge B reduces Christian B’s worries just to the tapes.
Helge B lies, and when one lies one adds details so as to transform the lie into the truth and one hides important facts that put in question Helge B’s statements, namely about the worries and shock he says having felt when he saw the tapes.
Christian B went to Órgiva in March 2008. Amaral writes:
“As was said before, Christian B will have gone to Órigiva, in March 2008. Helge B describes in this way the surprise and fear he felt when he saw him: «He had just arrived in an autocaravan (…) all were surprised to see him arrive in that vehicle, because Michael had said, 2 or 3 weeks before, that he had headed for Germany in the green Jaguar. I felt very bad because I didn’t know if Christian suspected that I had stolen the video cameras.»”
Interesting the focus, once again, on the tapes. They had taken other items but Helge B’s fear is only linked to the tapes.

“And he further said: «Besides that, I was scared of him. Manfred was there. Michael, Manfred Christian and I started to talk about Portugal.»
And it was at this moment that the revelation took place. It seems out of nowhere, just like magic, when they were all together (Manfred S, Michael T and Helge B) and only because the conversation was about Portugal, Christian B confesses his involvement in Madeleine McCann’s abduction, a few months after her disappearance.”
Amaral ends this chapter by saying that the “four from Órgiva” are the antithesis of the characters of Dumas “The Three Musketeers”, without principles and moral values and little, or nothing, sets them apart from each other.

DeleteOn reading Helge B’s questioning by the Met, we are not surprised as we are reminded of the questioning of Carole Tranmer-Fenn, on April 22nd 2008, in her rogatory statement.

We never got to read about her initial contact with the British police either as we have never seen her statements made on May 2007.
With Carole, then the British police tried to force her into acknowledging an e-fit that wasn’t the one she made, an e-fit that hasn’t seen the light of day still and with Helge B, they tried to push him to change the location of Christian B’s house from Portimão to Praia da Luz.
It seems to be very clear that Operation Grange and Helge met at least twice – once, when he supposedly contacted them from prison in Crete, the second time in a hotel in Athens after his release on parole – but the British pretend that the questioning in London was the first time that would have ever happened. Amaral, in our opinion, dismantles this lie completely. Interesting as the need to mislead is very telling.
The difference in volume between 200 and 300 litres of diesel is significant. If one uses the 300 as ref, it’s missing the mark by a third and if one uses the 200, then it’s half. Also, and let’s say he “only” stole 200 litres, it’s not exactly something one carries underneath one’s arm while on the way out.
Quite correctly, Amaral points out that Helge doesn’t mention how and in what he and Manfred took the diesel, the main loot – we remind readers that the main purpose of the assault was to steal diesel.
When inside Christian B’s hous Helge says he was inside a very untidy one, like an Alladin’s cave he says, but when he looks inside a wardrobe that is tidy he immediately determines that it must belong to Christian B because it must be tidy because of the neat Christian B ALWAYS dresses. We remind readers that when this assault took place Helge had only met Christian B twice. Once, when Christian B apparently didn’t like him and made him wait in the bar while he, Manfred and Michael drove to Luz and back to get some stolen solar panels and 2 or 3 days later when Christian B went to Órgiva to sell stolen solar panels. Helge must be one of those few geniuses who are able to read any book just by looking at the cover!
Please note that the previous burglar (or burglars) is very incompetent to say the least. Breaks-in and forgets to take all those objects that were supposedly taken by Helge, the cameras and the gun and also, very unprofessionally like Helge, leaves the computers behind.
We would love to know what technology existed in 2006 that allowed for the tracing and location of personal computers. We are not talking about IPs – which are irrelevant when speaking about stolen computers – but about the hardware. The police should have asked Helge, no?
There is a partner in both the crime and in having watched the tapes, the German Manfred S. Amaral has a chapter about him and the reader will be able to see if and how he corroborates or contradicts what Helge has stated.
But just looking at the statement per se, like Amaral says things simply don’t add up.
The first and obvious is the certainty expressed by Helge that the taped was in a rented property. Based on what? Is there any reason why the woman could NOT be the owner of the property?

Even if what Helge describes is true, and we don’t believe it is, all seems to consentaneous with, as Amaral says, a homemade BDSM porn movie, including the violence and the screaming. The fact that Helge speaks of the use of 2 cameras would be totally in line with this scenario as no one takes 2 cameras, a pair of painted swimming goggles and a whip to go rape a stranger in a strange house. Even if he met the woman on the night in question, this strongly indicates that he would have entered the house with consent. We repeat we don’t believe a word of this tale.
The alleged use of 2 cameras raises other questions. If there are 2 tapes of this act, as Helge suggests there are, and he clearly says that they filmed from different angles, as he says they did, then how can he say he can’t see if there was a penetration or not? Did Brueckner place one camera on top of the other? If so, then it wouldn’t be different angles. Later, when we deal with another chapter from the book, we believe we know why he has to have said that he doesn’t know if there was penetration.
He says the woman wore a sweater/blouse which was raised up to the waist. Aren’t all sweaters/blouses naturally raised up to the waist? Not seeing how that detail would be outstanding but for Helge, apparently, it was.
Christian B, after the act, goes to the toilet and returns with a whip. Where was this whip? Did Christian B put it in the bathroom before he started the filming? If so, it further points towards a consensual act and not a rape.
Helge goes out of his way to portray Christian B as a sadist but overlooks the fact that the sexual gratification such an individual gets from inflicting pain is during the crescendo of arousal and not after having consummation of coitus. Helge says Christian has sex, finishes, goes to the toilet and only then decides to inflict pain.
Also, are we supposed to believe that a young man like Christian B runs out of breath after giving 20, or even 30, lashes with a small whip? To the point of having to have to sit down breathless?
Christian takes off his mask after he’s done. Why? If all consensual, then it makes sense as it would represent the end of the scene but it certainly doesn’t in a rape scenario. He sets up 2 cameras, wears a mask throughout and then decides have his face on tape? And if that mask removing was done accidentally, impulsively, he then doesn’t erase that from the tapes? As if. Please remember that Christian shows that he is someone very much aware about destroying damning evidence.
There is something that Amaral has missed in our opinion and that is Helge is never shown by the police the picture of the woman supposedly raped in 2005 for recognition. The questioning takes place in 2018, and we all know that it has the purpose of linking Brueckner to a crime that happened against a woman in Praia da Luz in 2005 and for which Brueckner is currently serving time, mainly due to Helge’s statement, this very statement.

DeleteIt would then be expected that the picture of the victim of the 2005 crime would have been shown to Helge to make a comparison with the woman he alleges he saw in the tapes and confirm if it was the same one. We know that he alleges she was wearing swimming goggles but that only covers the eyes. A comparison could and should have been made, after all Helge shows he has an amazing memory. Not all 70/80 yr look like each other. For argument’s sake, let’s imagine that the 2005 victim was chubby and the rental place woman was thin, then it could have been clearly established that that they weren’t the same.
The police had the obligation to show the photo for this confirmation and possible confirmation/denial. It doesn’t. Why? Maybe because they knew it would never be the same woman, as one doesn’t exist and the other does.
Now to the confession. Please remember that this is the third time Helge B meets Christian B. In the beginning of 2006, when Helge was left in the bar in Portimão and 2 or 3 days later when Michael T and Christian B appeared in Órgiva to sell solar panels. Very brief encounters, we would say.
Between these 2 encounters there’s a time lapse of at least 2 years. Meanwhile Christian B goes to prison while Helge assaults his home and steals compromising tapes. Christian B, if the tapes were as compromising as Helge tries to make us believe they are, certainly has noted they had gone missing from his place and so must be very much worried that somewhere out there was real damning evidence that would absolutely incriminate him in a rape. Helge B is afraid that Christian knows he’s the one who stole the tapes. But even though he has great worries and might be suspicious of the man he’s talking to and who he didn’t trust enough to accompany him to his house and decides there and then to confess having abducted Maddie when the world had for the previous 10 months turned itself upside down looking for the little girl. If Helge had included a unicorn sitting around the fire with the four in this tale smoking a joint and playing drums, the story would be as believable.
But not taking his fantasy far enough, he then expects us to believe that knowing – or so he says – since 2006 that Brueckner is a sick and crazy rapist and torturer, on hearing the confession he waits 9 years to blurt it out.
An interesting detail is him saying that he’s the sole beholder of Christian’s secret (so, it wasn’t in a meeting of four) but then argues with Manfred S about telling the secret to the police. To be able to argue with Manfred about that, means Manfred knew, and if Manfred knew, then Helge was not the only one knowing.

A German is said to have kidnapped and murdered little Madeleine McCann in Portugal. A court classified him as a "parole failure". Who is the man?
Braunschweig, June 2013. Anja P. and her daughter visit a man she met through the Internet portal Chat2000. Christian B. lives with two dogs in the back room of a run-down kiosk in Braunschweig. There wasn't much going on with him, only once did they get physically closer, Anja K. will later tell the police. She got to know him as a child and animal lover.
When she is back home in the evening, she sends him a text message: "We arrived safely, it was nice again, the time with you is good for me! You are also someone special to me. I am glad to know you."
For the daughter, four years old, the visit was a nightmare. When the police searched the kiosk the next summer, she discovered a digital camera. On the SD card are hundreds of pictures and videos with child pornography as well as photos from that visit. One shows the daughter with her legs spread in a meadow, B. has pushed her underpants to the side and is touching the girl's vagina. Another one shows the girl climbing a tree with B. holding his erect penis in the picture.
In the fall of 2017, the Braunschweig Regional Court sentences Christian B. to one year and three months in prison for "sexual abuse of a child" and possession of 391 child pornography photos and 68 videos. The court expressly does not suspend the sentence on probation. It is to be assumed that the convicted person is a "parole violator", the Chamber finds.
Christian B. has been punished many times in his life. Currently he is in a prison in Kiel because he smuggled kilograms of marijuana to Sylt. In addition, he was sentenced to seven years in December because he allegedly attacked and raped a 72-year-old American woman in Portugal; this sentence is not yet final.
The big question is: Will there be another verdict? This time for life, for murder? The Braunschweig public prosecutor's office is investigating Christian B. in the case of the missing English woman Madeleine McCann. The three-year-old girl disappeared in spring 2007 from a vacation resort in Praia da Luz, Portugal. "We assume", says a spokesman for the authorities, "that the girl is dead."
Praia da Luz, in September 2020. street lamps bathe the white houses and the remains of an ancient wall in a warm light. From the beach, past the church, you walk only a few hundred meters to the Luz Ocean Club, a spacious apartment complex with pretty arches.
The Kiel lawyer Friedrich Fülscher, who defends Christian B., has travelled here. He wants to get a picture of the crime scene and gain his own insights. He stops in front of a window with lowered shutters on the north side of the apartment complex. It belongs to the first floor apartment 5A. The time of day, the silence in the side street - it's like back then.
Between 21.10 and 22 o'clock Madeleine Beth McCann disappeared from this room on 3 May 2007. "If the witness statements are correct, there was a time window of one minute and 30 seconds in which the child could have been abducted at that time," says Fülscher. "The perpetrator had a maximum of three minutes."
Photos by the Portuguese investigators show a plain bedroom with a pine chest of drawers. In the middle of the room are two travel cribs for the twins of the McCann family, two years old at the time. Next to them: Madeleine's bed, the blue and white checked bedspread is neatly folded back.

They started a Europe-wide search for their child. Celebrities such as David Beckham made a donation, the then Pope Benedict XVI received the parents in the Vatican and blessed a photo of their missing daughter. Later, the parents themselves became the target of the Portuguese investigators, one of so many twists and turns in this case.
And now, after 13 years, the solution? The murderer is a man from Germany, whom the investigators hadn't seen for a long time, even though he already had a criminal record and lived near the crime scene?
Shortly before Madeleine McCann disappeared, a prepaid cell phone with the Portuguese number 00351 912 730 680 was logged into the radio cell of the crime scene. It was, as was to turn out much later, the cell phone of Christian B. Who was he talking to for 30 minutes? An accomplice? Or someone who could give him an alibi? His lawyer does not want to comment on this. He says: "My client did not commit this crime."
From the window of the bedroom Fülscher goes around the corner to the place where several witnesses stood at that time. In a dead-end street lies the back of the apartment, whose terrace door is said to have been open. A friend of the McCanns testified to having seen a man carrying a child away from the resort. Fülscher says: "This man was later identified and has nothing to do with the disappearance. The case is full of "inconsistencies and contradictions
Würzburg, in the seventies. Christian B. was one year old when he and his brothers came to an adoptive family in Würzburg. He later told a social worker about his broken childhood: beatings and other punishments had been the preferred methods of upbringing, his brothers and he had been abused every day. At the age of 14, he moved into the living group of a children's home. He said he had fared better there.
After secondary school, Christian B. began training as a car mechanic. He broke it off because he wanted to leave Germany at all costs. At 18, he "emigrated" to Portugal, where he worked for a German newspaper, in hotels and car repair shops, said B.
In fact, Christian B. did not emigrate at the time, but fled. He received his first punishment, which was suspended on probation at the age of 16. It involved several thefts and driving without a driver's license.
Then he abused a girl, still a teenager. He followed her into a bush, held her by her upper arm, took his penis out of his pants, lifted the six-year-old's skirt and grabbed her between her legs. The girl cried, B. fled. A little later he abused nine-year-old girl.
B. received two years in prison for "sexually abusing a child, attempting to sexually abuse a child and performing sexual acts in front of a child. Shortly afterwards he traveled to Portugal, where investigators tracked him down after about five years. B. was extradited to Germany and went to prison. After his release at the end of 2000 he traveled back to the Algarve.
"He was a Hallodri, a jack-of-all-trades," Anja P. tells us in a Berlin café. After graduating from high school, she went to Portugal and stayed there for several years, "like Christian and so many others". Together with a friend, she met him at the opening ceremony of the Taberna de Lagos restaurant, and Christian B. waited there. "Everyone in the foreign community knew him. He was striking because he always wore these jackets and drove an old Jaguar. For me, he was a very nice and helpful guy at the time, who kept his head above water with odd jobs and never had any money.
Later, she also worked in the Taberna de Lagos and visited him several times in his house in Praia da Luz. "The house was near a golf course. At that time, Christian collected golf balls, which he later wanted to sell, and sold tickets for boat trips at the port of Lagos."

"Wölkchen" was allowed to stay overnight with them in Munich. Yvonne B. will later tell the police that she never noticed anything about this man. Perhaps he had not quite correctly expressed himself from time to time about the bust of a woman, nothing else. She had never noticed Christian B. as particularly aggressive.
A German musician and IT-technician, who got to know him in 2005 after a gig in a music bar in Lagos, learned that B. also has an uncanny side. The SPIEGEL reached Christian P., 53, via Skype in the small town of Kampot in Cambodia.
"I met Christian from time to time, he fixed my car, I helped him with the TV," he says. Sometimes they would drink wine. "He was quite a messie. The house in Praia da Luz was totally untidy and unkempt."
During a visit, he noticed three stacks of foreign travel documents. "There were 30 to 50 passports lying around in plain sight." When asked about this, Christian B. told about thefts in Praia da Luz and the surrounding area. "He told us that he went on tour from time to time, and climbed up facades in the process.
This is consistent with the findings of the investigators. According to this, Christian B. financed his life in Portugal in the mid-2000s not with odd jobs, but with burglaries and thefts. In April 2006, he and an Austrian accomplice were caught red-handed at a gas station when they were siphoning diesel from a truck. A Portuguese court sentenced them to 258 days in prison.
"I visited him in prison at the time," Christian P. recalls. "He complained about the poor prison conditions and the lousy food. Because there was no alcohol in the prison, I was supposed to bring him oranges sprinkled with vodka, but I didn't want that. That made B. angry.

DeleteDuring his imprisonment, B. received notice of termination for the house he had rented in Praia da Luz. Christian P. wanted to help his friend and place a few boxes for him. "But there were such disgusting CDs with dirty movies like animal porn, more than a hundred CDs," says Christian P. He threw all the stuff away. Christian B. didn't want to see him again afterwards, "he was so angry".
After his release, B. lived in an old VW bus. Madeleine McCann disappeared a few months later, which nobody connected with him at the time.
Saxony-Anhalt, 2010. Christian B. had driven around a lot, in a large American motor home of the brand Winnebago. Now he bought himself a permanent accommodation again. In Saxony-Anhalt, in the community of Am Großen Bruch, he purchased the grounds of an old box factory for 20,000 euros.
B. had big plans at that time. He wanted to open a camping site there, he told a friend. In fact, he was dealing drugs, bought kilograms of marijuana from a dealer in Oranienburg and sold it on Sylt. The drug deals were discovered and he was investigated. Christian B. moved to the kiosk in Braunschweig.
In Internet chats dating from this time, he did not write as a "cloud", but rather as "maddeningly catchy". Also about his perversions, for example in the chat with "panikspatz66".

In January 2016 the police searched the grounds of the former factory. Neighbors had complained about the smell of decay. It came from a dead dog that B. had buried there. Under the carcass, the officers discovered a cloth case with six USB sticks and memory cards full of pictures and films showing abused children.
By this time, the kiosk in Braunschweig had already been searched, and Christian B. was threatened with a prison sentence for the child pornography seized there. He fled again to the Algarve. In São Bartolomeu de Messines, Portuguese investigators arrested him in 2017. Several children had reported that a man had exposed his limb and made obscene movements. B. was extradited to Germany.
No investigator had ever connected him with Madeleine McCann and her disappearance. The lead came about because the notorious criminal B. had himself been the victim of a crime.
When he was imprisoned in Portugal for the thefts, two thieves had raided his house in Praia da Luz. They were also from Germany and were after B.'s loot. One of them, Helge Lars B., reported more than ten years later, in August 2017, from a Greek prison near Scotland Yard.
A few months later German investigators visited him in Greece. Helge Lars B. told them that he had never been friends with the "head waiter" he had met a few months before his arrest. When Christian B. was in prison, he and an accomplice drove to Praia da Luz. First they tapped 200 to 300 liters of diesel from the tank behind the house, then they searched the house. It was full of stolen goods, cameras, clothing, laptops. In the closet, he found swimming goggles, which strangely enough were painted gray on the inside. He had taken two video cameras and about 20 tapes with him, his accomplice a revolver.
On some of the videos, both thieves later agreed in court in Braunschweig, they saw Christian B. raping a woman between 70 and 80 years old. Another video showed a girl, about 14 years old, tied to a wooden post. The statements of the two men contradicted each other in parts; the films can no longer be found.

In one case they made progress: a 72-year-old woman was abused in 2005 in Praia da Luz in her house near the beach. At the scene of the crime, the Portuguese police had seized a hair that can be attributed with a probability of 244 billion to one Christian B.

Was it really like that? Is this the solution to the criminal case that has made more headlines worldwide than almost any other? Circumstantial evidence speaks against Christian B., but guilt or innocence will only be decided by a court, if an indictment is ever made.

Portuguese authorities have informed their colleagues about a ten-year-old girl from Germany who was abused on a beach near Praia da Luz four weeks before Madeleine disappeared. The now 23-year-old woman (Joana E) testified that she is now 99 percent sure that the man was B. A woman from Ireland (Hazel B) also came forward and accused B. of being the man who raped and assaulted her in the Algarve in 2004.
"My client does not want to comment on the ongoing investigations and denies that the 72-year-old woman was raped in Portugal," says attorney Fülscher.
Portugal, in September 2020, about half an hour drive from Praia da Luz to the man (Bernard P) who lent Christian B. the VW bus at the time. With long gray hair and a gray full beard, the screwdriver from Germany is leaning against a car with flat tires, his hands are oily, his pants are torn.
On the remote yard near Messines there are rusty VW Golf and Mercedes, as they were modern in the eighties. "I don't want to say anything to Christian," the mechanic immediately says, "he was just here from time to time. He could not understand all the excitement.
He and his son (Flavio P) drove around in the white-yellow VW bus for several years after B. returned it, the man says. About two years ago, officials from the Federal Criminal Police Office came by and picked up the bus. They believe that Madeleine McCann could have been kidnapped with it.

Chapter 29 – The Statement from the Homeless
Manfred S was born in Germany in 1955, studied to be a mechanic, was married in 1978 and is the father of 2, having his wife passed away. He has lived in many countries and has worked as a HGV driver and then in agriculture. Opted for illegal activity and live off burglaries and other makeshift means considering himself as a survivor.
Lives currently in a container and every day sits with his dog in front of a supermarket asking for handouts. His life revolves around drugs and alcohol.
In 2018 he was located in Thessaloniki, Greece and on May 8 was questioned by the German liaison officer of the German police.
Amaral writes:
“To the first question they put Manfred S is about Christian B.
«I drove from Spain to Portugal with Michael T. We ran out of fuel. Michael went out and returned with Oberkellner [the nickname Christian B was known by] with diesel. Oberkellner arrived in his Jaguar. We talked and cautiously got to know each other. He offered to take us to his place. We didn’t need to talk much, we all got to know each other. We saw that not all was well with him. Oberkellner stole from hotels, that was his job. He told that to me and Michael. We spent a few days in his house.»”
That first encounter with Christian B would have happened in 2006, months before he and Michael T went to prison. To be noted that this witness does not mention the presence of Helge B in this meeting.
During the time he knew Christian B, in order to face the lack of money, Christian B suggested that they steal solar panels, which they did.
Amaral writes:
“About the hotel burglaries done by Christian B, the witness said: «He was a climber. He scaled the front of the buildings. Took all from there. Video cameras, photos, tourist shit, all that they carry with themselves, even when people were sleeping in the room.»
Says he knows about the hotel burglaries because he saw him bring objects and because Christian B spoke about doing it.»”
Regarding the hotel burglaries, he was asked if Christian B had molested sexually anyone during these invasions to which he answered “I don’t know anything about that”.
Amaral writes:
“The witness describes Christian B’s house in a detailed manner, making it clear, contrary to what was stated by Helge B, that there isn’t any tree in the living-room but a tree-trunk that serves as a beam. Also, contrary to what Helge B stated, there wasn’t any 1,000 litre fuel deposit but «huge diesel drums».
Plus, contrary to the stated by Helge B, he doesn’t speak of any meeting in a bar in Portimão or anywhere else. He’s very clear in stating that, months before Christian B and Michael T went to prison, he travelled from Spain to Portugal only with Michael T, that Michael T asked for help to Christian B and after that they stayed a few days in Christian B’s house. He’s clear: Helge B was not with them. Helge B and Christian B only saw each other once and that would have happened in Órgiva, after the latter was released from prison in Portimão.
When they got to know that Michael T and Christian B were in prison, he and Helge B decided to steal the diesel drums. At the time he was living in Santa Clara with Helge B. When they arrived at the house, it was open.
According to his words, «Helge took the camera and some films. I think they were small size tapes». Manfred S appropriated a fire-arm but later threw it in the Santa Clara dam.”
With his Manfred S confirms the burglary but adds facts that were left out by Helge B when he made his statement on Feb 2 2018 to the Met. Helge B stole one of the cars (“a Ford or something like that”) parked outside, together with its documents. Helge B sold the car in Santa Clara.

“Already in Santa Clara, after the burglary, Helge showed him the tape he was watching in the video camera and told him: «Look…».

As Manfred S’s statement is not matching up with what Helge B had said he saw, they asked him about another object used by Christian B. We remind that Helge B speaks of a whip, different from a ruler. Manfred S’ reply is clear: «Only the ruler.»
It is at this moment of the inquiry that a break happens. It is written down that the witness took the opportunity to smoke a cigarette and have a coffee, it is not known what the responsible police officer did. Certain is that, when the inquiry is retaken, the key-question is put: «How old do you think the woman in the video was?» Manfred S replies: «About 40, maybe a little more».
Doubt seems to be settling in the interrogator and they ask Manfred S what they had failed to ask Helge B: «Can you describe the room where Christian and the woman were?»
Manfred S quickly replies: «In his house». The interrogator wants further clarification to dissipate his doubts: «How did you find that out?»
Manfred S’s reply is convincing: «Because all of Oberkellner’s things were scattered. The devices were accumulated everywhere. I know his house».
The witness clarifies, as he also consumes porn movies, that he wasn’t affected by what he saw and reveals a fact left out on purpose by Helge B: «Helge showed the video in a bar in Santa Clara, in the outskirts of the village. At the time the bar was owned by a German who did reiki.»
Besides this tape, Manfred S states that he also saw one of a girl, maybe 14 yrs old, who spoke German and who said: «This is rape.» She was tied to the beam in Christian’s living-room, while he put his penis in her mouth. The girl threw up and he said: «Now you are messing my rug.»
Manfred S confirms Helge B’s version about from where the girl possibly came from, stating having had the idea that it could be one of the girls from a social institution somewhere in the Algarve.
They asked him if Christian B was masked in the tapes he saw: «I can’t remember».
About the fate of the tapes, Manfred S clarified that at a certain moment Helge sold the autocaravan to Cheyenne, of the Fazenda Rebelde in Santa Clara. His hunch is that the tapes were in the autocaravan.”
Manfred S describes Christian B as psychopath with a nice outside but a degenerate inside and the last time he saw him was in the Dragon Festival in a year he cannot remember. That two weeks after Christian B left prison, he returned to Órgiva to transport 6Kg of hashish to Germany and after that he never saw him again.
He clarifies that he didn’t contact the police about the tapes he saw because it wasn’t his scene to “denigrate other people to the police”
About Christian B’s alleged confession, Amaral writes:
“Relative to the revelations made by Christian B, during the Órgiva festival, in February or March 2008, and which made Helge B contact the police, nothing is asked to Manfred S. That is, Helge B stated that Christian B revealed to him the involvement in Madeleine McCann’s abduction, which occurred some months before. This revelation would have been in the presence of Manfred S and Michael T, but as incredible as it may seem, Manfred S is asked nothing about this matter. It’s as if the investigators weren’t interested in hearing any more intervenients in that conversation, as if Helge B’s statement was enough to serve as evidence of whatever, even if it was a lie.”

ReplyDeleteManfred S would have spoken about Helge B’s motivations, his interest in being rewarded and in lying about the case but in this questioning there’s no reference to that, To both German and British police only what Helge B, the manipulator says is of interest.
Reading Manfred S’ statements, one understands why Helge B showed no interest in having the investigators talk to Manfred S. Helge B has left out facts relevant to the valuation of the credibility of his statement and was surely afraid to be contradicted by the others regarding Christian B’s alleged confession.
In declarations made in the port of Ancona, Italy, on August 15 2020, after the operation launched by the consortium “Grange, Rechen & Associates”, Manfred S says that when he travelled to Portugal with Michael T it was initially just a change of location. The idea to steal fuel and solar panels came up afterwards. Michael T distanced himself from him because of Christian B. They started to make money in a large scale by stealing those things. Manfred S stayed in Christian B’s house for over 3 weeks.
In Greece, Helge B dedicated himself to human trafficking and was arrested when trying to smuggle 3 immigrants from Igoumenitsa to Italy for money. According to Manfred S, Helge B got a sentence of 7 yrs for it but after a short period, he thinks of 2 yrs, he returned. Helge B told Manfred S that he wasn’t an outlaw, that he had to present himself weekly to the police. The police seemed not to know about these required presentations.
After leaving prison, Helge B lived with Manfred S during 4 months. Helge B didn’t work, was just lazy. It was then that Helge B confided in Manfred S that he was going to be questioned in Athens by the British police about the Maddie case, having become a very important person of it and having the idea that he was going to get a big reward.
Amaral writes:
“From Christian B’s house, he and Helge B only appropriated one video camera, with 2 or 3 tapes. What he said about all the electronic devices (computers and similar) scattered over Christian B’s house is a misunderstanding. When they «invaded» the house – the door was open – there weren’t valuable «electronic devices», except the camera that was on the floor of the living-room with the beam (wood trunk) and not in a room closet as was stated by Helge B.
It is a lie that 2 Sony video cameras were stolen. To what Helge B said, Manfred S stated: «That is not true. It was only one camera and it was on the floor, in the living-room».
Looking at the mess, Manfred S thought that it was that police that had searched the house because when he lived there the house was tidy and clean.
He stole a fire-arm, as well as 20 litres of fuel, there was nothing else. Someone had to have been there before because the largest fuel drums were all empty. Helge B stole a vehicle, a Ford or an Opel Ascona Wagon or something like that, definitely a station wagon, white/beige.
When he was asked about Helge B stating that they had stolen 200 or 300 litres of fuel from tank located in the back of the house, Manfred S replies: «That is absolutely not true. How was it possible to transport that quantity of fuel? If I had known that, I would have brought drums.»
Helge B was the who saw the video for the first time. Manfred S watched the video because Helge B’s requested it, in the camera’s small screen. He thinks that Uwe, a German citizen, would have seen the video. Uwe then lived in Fazenda Rebelde and was with them in the German bar, where the owner watched said video.
However states that he never saw the video in a screen other than that of the video camera even because at the time they didn’t have a TV.

ReplyDeleteWhen asked about the details that he saw in the video, he stated: «There was a woman. Recently I read how old she would be. I thought that I didn’t consider her that old (…) from memory I would say she was 40/45 yrs old. She was on the table. The woman was lying on her back, the perpetrator shook the woman’s “tits” with a ruler (…) the woman went as far as saying “aiuto”, that means “help” in Italian.»
The woman did not speak in English, contrary to what was stated by Helge B, having Manfred S clarified that question in the following way: «When we were watching the video, I told Helge B: “That is Italian”. After which Helge B made no comment. Later, in court he would have said that it was English. At the time Helge B also didn’t speak Italian.»
For Manfred S, contrary to what is stated by Helge B the scene with the woman was only filmed in Christian B’s house in a single angle, with a fixed camera.
When he was asked if he had seen swimming goggles that were said having been painted in Christian B’s house, he answered: «No, I didn’t see any swimming goggles. During the entire time I lived in Christian B’s house, a period of 3 weeks to a month, I never saw swimming goggles.» Furthermore, he clarified that the woman in the video did not wear swimming goggles: «No, I’m certain that the woman in the video was not wearing swimming goggles.»
About the man, Christian B, he says that he wasn’t wearing a mask: «No, the person I saw wasn’t masked.» Contrary to what was referred by Helge B, the man was not masked. At that moment they recognised Christian B. Helge B’s lie is exposed in Manfred S’ words: «No, that is not true. Unless later he put on a mask and took it off again.»
When it’s said that the woman that Helge B states having seen in the video was around 70/75 yrs old and a little fat, Manfred S replies: «Yes, somewhat fat, that’s right. She had a bit of flesh. But she wasn’t that old… she wasn’t as old as that… the woman was still in my “price range”. In the beginning I thought that it was all human, it didn’t look wrong to me.»
Manfred S also states that it was false that the camera used in the scene with the young girl was hanging high: «In both cases no one was holding the camera to film but the camera was fixed.»
Manfred S was clear in contradicting Helge B about the relationship between Christian B and Nicole F from the child supporting institution of São Bartolomeu de Messines: «It’s a lie that Christian B “received” children in exchange for stolen domestic appliances like refrigerators. That he only told Helge B that Christian B took a refrigerator to the institution and that was not related to any child abuse.»
About the fate of the video camera and the tapes, Helge B told Manfred S that he sold the tape to Cheyenne (Fazenda Rebelde), together with his autocaravan.

The old lady who ran the bar was an ecologic aunt. A hippie damaged by a macrobiotic diet, who fell in love with Uwe, who would also do reiki massages. The woman who ran the bar was very interested in reiki.»
Relative to the meeting with Christian B in the Pipas Festival in March 2008 in Órgiva, Spain, Manfred said «I was there with Helge B, Christian B ran by us with his girlfriend, looked at us but didn’t speak to anyone.» Manfred S is very clear: Christian B didn’t speak to him, nor with Michael T and not even with Helge B. There wasn’t any confidence by Christian B about his relation with the disappearance of Madeleine McCann.
Two weeks after Christian B’s stay in festival at Órgiva he got to know from Helge B that the same had been there to buy 5kg of hashish.”
Manfred S says he never saw porn with animals in Christian B’s house. During the time he lived with him he never noted any abnormal sexual inclination on the part of Christian B.
Manfred S’ statements leave no doubt, Helge B is manipulator and a liar but the consortium “Grange, Rechen & Associates” continues to protect and spread Helge B’s lies. Only that way can they have a putative suspect.
