The "Friend" and the Appeal

1. Introduction

This week we promised that we would help the UK with the reconstruction proposed by Mr Amaral. You know, the one he dared SY to do it with their Crèche Dad.

However two other things that have dominated the past week: Sharon Osbourne’s words of McCann negligence and the filing of the appeal to the Portuguese Supreme Justice Court by the McCanns.

So, we apologise to the UK and ask for patience for just one more week.

Lions and the Settlement of Truth

1. Introduction

One day it had to happen, one day the British tabloids would publish something like this about the Maddie case:

“But Leanne Baulch, 22, of Birmingham, created the page and wrote the fund was created “as a quest for justice and backed by supporters from all over the globe, in solidarity, friendship and above all, in the interest of furthering the investigation of the case into the disappearance of Madeleine McCann”.

And:

“There are many who follow Amaral’s dissatisfaction, and whom, like him, urge for the day the truth, or some more of it will emerge.”

Unquestionable and unequivocal support shown for Mr Amaral in a British tabloid.

1 Statement, 1 Article

1. Introduction

It’s said that culture is what we remember when we forget all the rest.

Truth is that memory retains only important events. Events that mark humanity for some reason.

And within these, criminal ones do occupy a relevant part of our memory. Not because of any voyeuristic or sadistic trait but because crime is deviancy and as deviancy is out of the norm, it is what points us to what norm is by being its exception.

That’s why we remember OJ Simpson and we will always remember Maddie. We have referred to these 2 for a reason and that is because both have  2 things in common: timelessness and globalisation.

The Sun will go down

1. Introduction

The hours preceding the battle are unquestionably the worst in time of war. Those long endless minutes when the soldier knows there will be a fight but all he knows about is that he will be a part of it. Other than that, little or nothing else.

And if his side is the one not holding the initiative then all becomes  even worse as there’s no way for him to know the when nor the how will things happen.

That’s the time imagination gets the best of us all.

Nine

Tale tells of the cat the lives are times nine

And at nine stops, it's where even tale draws the line

Where fiction ends and nonsense starts to get inflated

New billboards doth not make a new circus be created
