Christmas lights

1. Introduction

It’s Christmas time and in the majority of homes a Christmas tree is put up.

It’s indeed called a Christmas trees but it has no connection to Christianity other than the star some homes put on top of it and which is supposed to represent the one that guided the three Wise Men to Bethlehem.

But if one is not religious, one can always put a decorative star on the top and tell the children that it is what guides Santa Claus to their house.

All this to say that this is the time for Christmas tree decorations and lights to be expected.

To abuse abuse

1. Introduction

This week we didn’t intend to write a post. South Yorkshire police was supposed to have had by the end of last month to conclude their investigation as to what happened to Ben Needham.

It didn’t and doesn’t seem to us to be a case of any extraordinary complexity taking into account that over a month ago they informed the world that it was their professional belief that Ben died as the victim of an accident near the farmhouse.

With only loose ends left to tie one would expect a swift conclusion, especially if one bases one’s assessment on the certainty shown by the South Yorkshire police on that Monday in October.

Found, Lost, Likely and Confession

1. Introduction

Last time we wrote we said we were stepping aside to watch how things would evolve in the Ben Needham case.

That we thought best that our silence would be the best option to avoid influencing in any way that particular outcome – and before the reader sends us any comments, we are already on our way to church to seek penitence for such a presumption of self-importance.

We continue to think the same way.

Blogeditorial decision

1. Introduction

Sometimes the best way to play a game is to stand still and not budge an inch.

This can be because of one of 2 reasons.

The first is because one doesn’t know what to do and one feels that anything one does may be compromising in the present and in the future so one just stands as still and quiet as one possibly can and crosses one’s fingers very hard, prays desperately even if one is an atheist begging for things to better than the worst even if just slightly.

The road of no return and apologies

(image from here)
1. The road of no return

We haven’t researched the Ben Needham’s case as well as we have with Maddie’s.

The reason we have dedicated ourselves to Maddie’s case is because of the political, economic, judicial and media powers involved and of the incredible amount of accomplices from all layers of society in obstructing justice and perverting its course, make it absolutely unparalleled in history and certain to never to be matched ever again.

Our quest is for the truth. Nothing but the truth. And if we strive for that for Maddie, we have the exact same desire for Ben Needham.

The messages

1. Introduction

This week’s post is about a move from the other side, in an attempt to send a message, involving us all on the internet, to the government.

But with that same message they have sent another to their own people. It wasn’t their intention but they did.

The post is about both.

Team meeting

We apologize to our readers but this week there will be no post.

Reason for this is that team met again just like we did a year ago.

This year we didn’t go to Praia da Luz, as the 40 to 45 minutes we spent there last year were more than enough to fully understand the terrain related to the Maddie case.

We chose this year just to spend time together.

Next week, we hope to address the news about the ghoul tours and about the fact that Mr Amaral is about to publish his second book. Both quite interesting.

And about the case, the first deadline set by the Daily Mail for Operation Grange to have closed, Oct 5, has passed and, as far as we know, it continues. Just like the Home Office and Whitehall said it would.

The Brit Snitch

(image from here)

1. Introduction

One of the biggest, if not the biggest, mysteries of the Maddie case is related to something we in the blog don’t subscribe to at all: that Maddie’s death was related to paedophilia.

One of the reasons we don’t subscribe to that theory is exactly because of this mystery, as we hope to explain today.

The fact that we don’t subscribe to the paedophilia thesis doesn’t mean we haven’t paid it attention, because we have and a whole lot of it.

Follow the money

1. Introduction

It’s said that good things come in threes or, as the other side would now say, also do bad things.

But in the Maddie case the good things for us and bad for them have come in fours this summer break.

To be accurate, during the summer of 2016 there seemed to be only three good things, the fourth only arrived just last week with the approval of the funding of Operation Grange for the second semester of the 2016/2017 fiscal year. The first semester had been approved back in April.

Since we returned from holidays we have already addressed two of them in respective posts: the association of Clement Freud with the Maddie case and the firing of Clarence Mitchell.

Mitchell walking the plank

1. Introduction

As we showed last week in our “Freud and Maddie” post, finger pointing Clement Freud and welding solidly him to the Maddie case was a turning point in the case.

Katie Hopkins’ article in her column in the Express on February 22 this year was the materialisation of a tide that had definitely changed against those orchestrating the McCann campaign, as we said in our post “Tide Change”.

Its importance wasn’t so much about what Hopkins wrote but about the fact that an article against the McCanns had been published by the UK media. That’s where it made history. Only after almost 9 years was the British media allowed to question the McCanns’ saintly image. Rather late than never and never was what had been determined in 2007 to be.

Freud and Maddie

1. Introduction

The summer of 2016 was quite an eventful one, both inside and outside the Maddie case.

Outside it, Brexit was unquestionably what attracted the most attention.

As it happened in Britain and had as consequence a new government, one would expect that it would have significant implications in the Maddie case. Surprisingly, very surprisingly for us, it turned out that it had very few implications at all and the ones that it did were in favour of  the truth as we will explain.

Summer Break Update

It’s been a very busy few weeks for all of us here, but we have been keeping abreast with developments, both McCann and non-McCann and made a few notes on recent events.

We try to maintain the non-political nature of the blog, appreciating that people who strive for justice in this case cover the political spectrum and we don’t wish political arguments and debate to distract from our purpose. That’s not to say we haven’t had any debate or differences of opinion between ourselves regarding Brexit. We have discussed it in great detail and the one thing we do agree on is our great concern for the upsurge in racism and xenophobia which appears to be linked to the Brexit debate and its outcome. The legislation proposed by the British government’s hate crime action plan is to be welcomed.

Reconstruction for May 3rd 2007

Image from this website

1. Introduction

As everyone knows Mr Amaral has challenged the UK to do a reconstruction of the evening/night of May 3 2007 in Praia da Luz (article from the Express on May 1 2016 by James Murray “We must reconstruct Maddie’s fateful night”).

We know an attempt was made to do a reconstruction in March 2008 by Mr Paulo Rebelo but due to the strange unavailability shown by some of the T7 it never went ahead.

The "Friend" and the Appeal

1. Introduction

This week we promised that we would help the UK with the reconstruction proposed by Mr Amaral. You know, the one he dared SY to do it with their Crèche Dad.

However two other things that have dominated the past week: Sharon Osbourne’s words of McCann negligence and the filing of the appeal to the Portuguese Supreme Justice Court by the McCanns.

So, we apologise to the UK and ask for patience for just one more week.

Lions and the Settlement of Truth

1. Introduction

One day it had to happen, one day the British tabloids would publish something like this about the Maddie case:

“But Leanne Baulch, 22, of Birmingham, created the page and wrote the fund was created “as a quest for justice and backed by supporters from all over the globe, in solidarity, friendship and above all, in the interest of furthering the investigation of the case into the disappearance of Madeleine McCann”.

And:

“There are many who follow Amaral’s dissatisfaction, and whom, like him, urge for the day the truth, or some more of it will emerge.”

Unquestionable and unequivocal support shown for Mr Amaral in a British tabloid.

1 Statement, 1 Article

1. Introduction

It’s said that culture is what we remember when we forget all the rest.

Truth is that memory retains only important events. Events that mark humanity for some reason.

And within these, criminal ones do occupy a relevant part of our memory. Not because of any voyeuristic or sadistic trait but because crime is deviancy and as deviancy is out of the norm, it is what points us to what norm is by being its exception.

That’s why we remember OJ Simpson and we will always remember Maddie. We have referred to these 2 for a reason and that is because both have  2 things in common: timelessness and globalisation.

The Sun will go down

1. Introduction

The hours preceding the battle are unquestionably the worst in time of war. Those long endless minutes when the soldier knows there will be a fight but all he knows about is that he will be a part of it. Other than that, little or nothing else.

And if his side is the one not holding the initiative then all becomes  even worse as there’s no way for him to know the when nor the how will things happen.

That’s the time imagination gets the best of us all.

Nine

Tale tells of the cat the lives are times nine

And at nine stops, it's where even tale draws the line

Where fiction ends and nonsense starts to get inflated

New billboards doth not make a new circus be created

The Last Chance Saloon

1. Introduction

As expected, things are really stirring up after Mr Amaral’s court decision.

Literally for years now we have been saying the final decision on the Maddie case was held up by UK involvement to the point of exasperation of all of us.

Now on April 19 this decision has finally been seen to come out, everyone involved in the case is having the last opportunity to place their chips on the roulette table.

It’s now or never.

The days after

1. Introduction

After a long wait, the decision from the Appeal Court of Lisbon on the appeal filed by all defendants in what we have called the McCann v Amaral Damages trial has come out.

Unsurprisingly, the decision was in favour of the defendants. Unanimously in favour of them. Overwhelming in favour of them. Totally in favour of them.

The last sentence of the sentence sums it all. Concise and precise: “Costs, in both instances, by the AA., appealed”, The AA. are the Authors/Plaintiffs, the McCanns.

Much waited news!

(Image from here)

Now, we hope, the real game will begin. Finally.

A word to Mr Amaral and to his family, Sir, may this be the end of the horrible nightmare you've been subject to. To you and to your legal team, WELL DONE!

Thank you Isabel!

Every dog has its day

Even McCann sceptics and critics who can’t agree on the time of day seem to be in harmony on one subject: the reliability of the findings by the dogs brought in to assist in the search for Madeleine; Eddie and Keela.

Nothing is more likely to induce foaming at the mouth of their opponents than mention of the canine team and their handler. Mr Twitter is like the proverbial dog with a bone on the subject and his long-lost twin, flesh of his flesh, Insane shares his predilection for bizarre explanations of the dog alerts in various locations related to the McCanns.

Six months to find Maddie?

The Express, April 3rd 2016 wrote the headline “Six months to find Maddie: Scotland Yard set to GIVE UP on hunt for missing girl”, but a closer look at the article suggests it’s a repeat of last year’s guesswork.

What the Home Office spokeswoman is quoted as saying:

“Following a request from the Metropolitan Police Service, we have agreed to provide nearly £95 thousand funding which will cover the first half of the 2016/17 financial year.”

Nothing about a final cut-off date.

Maddie & Swinging

1. Introduction

This week we’re going to surprise readers with our answer to the following question:

Question A: What does the collective swinging that we think was going on in Praia da Luz and outskirts have to do with Maddie’s death?

Answer: Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

Yes, that’s exactly what the blog thinks. We can only imagine the surprised faces of our readers.

However we are certain that by now our readers know that when we surprise them like this it’s because there’s a catch.

Third Option

1. Introduction

In our post last week “Vultures circling” we spoke about how it seemed these hyenas with wings were circling above and around Praia da Luz for a Portuguese paedophile.

Please note the difference between Kate McCann pointing her fingers at the Praia da Luz area, and the vultures we referred to in that post.

Vultures circling

(image from here)
1. Introduction

As we have shown in our past 2 posts, Kate has recently decided that Madeleine is likely to be in the Praia da Luz area. We have stated the reasons why we think she has said that.

However, a vociferous and prolific twitter supporter seems to agree wholeheartedly that she really means what she says.

Tide change

Now, at the end of winter of 2016, it seems that Maddie has suddenly bloomed like a flower in full spring.

If it had happened in the spring then we all would have understood it. But out of the blue in winter?

The importance of King Richard

(image from here)
We don’t know if the recent news, or to be more precise the article on February 15 in the Sun “I’m convinced my Maddie is still in the Algarve, says Kate McCann as she launches Child Rescue campaign” about Kate thinking Maddie is alive in the vicinity of Praia da Luz is anything related to the decision from the Appeal court on the McCann v Amaral judicial process undergoing its terms in Lisbon.

Double standards

Yes, we said we were on the half-term break. We also said we would only return next Friday. But about that we also said “we, will be back next week if there aren’t any surprises”.

A Triumph of Tycoons

Update 12Feb14: We will be breaking for the half-term holidays this week. We, will be back next week if there aren’t any surprises. Happy Valentine's day to all!

This post is a follow-up of our “Carman” post of last week.

There is no collective noun to describe tycoons, so we came up with our own – a triumph.

Stephen Winyard, owner of Stobo Castle health spa in Scotland and resident of Monaco, was the first tycoon to be named as a financial supporter of the McCanns. By May 10th 2007, Mr Winyard was reported to have made the offer of a million pound reward for information leading to the return of Madeleine. The offer was made earlier in the week through The Times.

Carman

We are often accused of spreading misinformation by our detractors, sometimes by those who have taken part, wittingly or unwittingly, in doing exactly that.

Doing a Kate McCann

Last week we saw how a Mark Warner nanny, Susan Owen, imagined things when finding herself in need of having to “find” a route that circumvented apartment 5A when she invented a road for the authorities that went from the beach to the Mirage bar that simply does not exist in Praia da Luz.

That told us she had something to hide about what she did on the night of the 3rd, and by hiding it she was just one more who obstructed justice in the Maddie case.

This week we will see how a nanny will state very, very clearly that either she’s not telling the truth or another nanny has lied to authorities.

Imagining things

It’s a fact that when one lies one does make the effort to keep the lie as close to the truth as possible.

The problem that a liar, any liar has is when for whatever reason, one has to venture into details one doesn’t have the faintest idea what the is truth about them and that’s when the guesswork begins and more often than not the result has little or nothing to do with reality.
